I have always been sceptical of buying anything online, but after failing to find any bridesmaid dresses that I liked in bridal shops for a reasonable price & reading all the reviews on here, I took a leap of faith & placed my order with my fingers tightly crossed!
Well, when the dresses arrived (3 weeks exactly after i placed the order) I was over the moon! I am very impressed with the quality of the fabrics & the finished edges that it is beyond what you would expect to receive for the price that you pay! I have looked at dresses in bridal stores for tripple the price & their quality doesn't even come close!
The only negative comment I have is that the colour I was expecting - "Pearl Pink" a very pale pink on other dresses on the website, actually looks more like a pale salmon colour.
However, at my wedding I will be the only person to really know that it wasn't the exact pink that I wanted. So at the end of the day I am VERY happy overall. I have even placed another order for a veil & hoop, both at $20 each, compared to $159 & $259 I was quoted in the bridal store where I purchased my dress!!
I have attached a photo of myself in my bridesmaids dress whom I am most closest to in size, but obviously alot shorter than! But until she arrives from overseas, I won't be able to comment about the fit. But my mother in law is a seamstress, so I'm not worried about any alterations we may need to make as she thinks the design of the dress should be quite easy to adjust. We ordered three of these dresses for my sister's wedding which is happening later in the year. We chose this style in part based on the good reviews it has received, and I've got to say, we were not disappointed. The workmanship on these dresses is very high quality - I would have easily paid four times the amount to buy them here in NZ. They are very comfortable to wear too. One thing I wil say though, is be very specific with your measurements - I was a bit generous with mine and as a result the dress is a little loose around the bust. No big deal though. The style of the dress itself is very flattering on, and I would recommend Light in the Box to anyone looking for a high quality dress.

Ordered this dress for a friends wedding (I was matron of honour), there were 4 adult bridesmaid in total and we each had the same dress. Although we were all different shapes and sizes the dresses looked amazing. I ordered a standard size which meant I had to take the dress to the tailors to be shortened, also as I have a large bust and small waist I needed some adjustments to the top, although this was my fault I should have paid for a custom made dress. The tailor was very impressed with the quality of the dress and said it was much better made than some high end high street shops. I was so impressed with the quality of the dresses and speed of delivery, I recently ordered flower girl, junior and my bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding as well.

UK Customers, please be aware that when the product comes into the UK there is a customs charge of 12%, plus 20% VAT and usually an admin fee (£5 with DHL). Even with this given the quality of the dresses it is worth it.

Received the dresses two weeks after I purchased them, I am soooo happy with the quality they are superb, just need to get the dress taken up a notch as they are a little too long but that is to be expected when ordering online. I bought the dresses in pearl pink and got a lace coat made for my maid of honour also from Light in the Box. Bought a size 2 for Aussie size 6, a 4 for Aussie size 8 and a 6 for Aussie size 10 and they fit perfectly.

I was so excited to receive my dress but I was so worried that the colour might not be perfect, but it is absolutely perfect!
I ordered this dress in 'watermelon' after reading a previous review that the dress was more of a coral colour than pink. It is definitely more coral which is what i wanted so anyone who picks that watermelon colour thinking it will be pink beware!

The dress is prefect, fits perfectly except i measured my bust wrong and it needs taking in just a little (wishful thinking i reckon) and the quality is awesome.

Will be recommending this site to anyone and everyone looking for a dress and I'm a customer for life :)

I shopped evvvverywhere to find bridesmaids dresses that I liked - I wanted a very specific colour and cut and something that suited all of my bridesmaids - all of which were different shapes. Having been rather disappointed everywhere else I was doubtful when my mother came across this site. However, within a few minutes I found a dress that I absolutely loved - the neckline was adjustable and so I was able to get them made to echo my bridal gown. The colour I wanted was a lavender colour and I found it here! We ordered them and when they arrived, the colour was exactly what I wanted!!
The dresses were also made with a much higher quality that I had anticipated and it looked beautiful on all of my bridesmaids even though they were all totally different heights and shapes. Basically the dresses were perfect!!! I would definitely recommend the dresses from this site.
The only thing I had difficulty with was that when purchasing the dresses it was not clear where they were being shipped from and as someone purchasing from the UK this meant it was difficult to predict the customs charges that came with them.
But anyway the dresses were great, and my bridesmaids looked wonderful so it was worth the extra effort!!

This is the third dress I have bought and three different designs all in the burgundy colour. They are all well made, lined with satin. All custom made perfect fit. Would recommand without hesitation

This dress was very smooth looking and I was more impressed when I got it because it had a ruffle on the shoulder I didnt notice when ordering.

I was very dubious about ordering my bridesmaid dresses online, so decided to order one to start with. The delivery with very quick and i was able to track my purchase which was a bonus.
On opening the box I felt a huge relief! The dress was the perfect colour and beautifully made. I have now ordered the rest of my bridesmaid dresses and look forward to there arrival.
