Lining and boning
All our dresses are fully lined and structured to hold their shape and flatter your figure. Our full-skirted dresses use a hard net lining underneath a soft fabric that feels comfortable against the skin.

A lining bag, sturdy cardboard box and measuring tape accompany every dress.

A: The tailoring time for most special occasion and wedding party dresses is 15-19 business days, but some dresses with more elaborate designs or detailing may take longer to tailor. Tailoring times are noted on each dress’s product page. Shipping time is 3-8 business days.
A: Even standard size dresses are made to order for each customers. The custom nature of our dresses means our cancellation and return policy is stricter than other items, so it's important to order carefully.
A: Each dress is carefully tailored to match exactly what you see in the photo, and unfortunately we are unable to modify the style, length or material in any way.
A: There might be a slight difference between the actual dress’s color and what you see in the photo depending on your computer monitor’s display settings.

I ordered this dress for my daughter in dark blue and taylor made. To be honest it was meant to be a test order, to see if the quality meets the standards.
I have to say that I was positively suprised and that I will certainly order my wedding dress and the dresses for the other two daughters too with Light in the Box.
The dress really fits well, it is very well tailored and the quality of the cloth is very good! Please note that we just received the dress today, so we did not iron it for the pics.
The wrap is fitting really well too, although there are less pearls on the collar as shown on the pics of the website. Fortunately my daughter prefers less pearls :-) We will shorten the dress a little to make it perfect.
We had to pay taxes with UPS: Order amount was around 128 EUR plus shipping. I had to pay german VAT 23,71 EUR and brokerage fee 10,50 EUR and another 2 EUR VAT on top of that (no clue where this second VAT comes from)...
We ordered the dress on 21.06.2011. Shipping date was set and met on 02.07.2011. The dress arrived in Germany on 04.08.2011. I hope this comment will help you!
