I have lots of this type of MP3 player.
I have them everywhere; in the car, by my bed, connected to the mini hifi system in the kitchen and in my desk at work.
As a format, in my opinion it is the best.
Because the power is from AAA batteries I can keep it going anywhere: on holiday or out and about.
I have lots of rechargeable batteries to run from normally at home and carry a spare with the player.
I don't like the apple approach, and have not heard anything to entice me down that route: it's all style over function and £40 odd to replace the battery.
I have had a player with a video function before, but almost never used it.
Those kind of things are all on one's 'phone nowadays anyway.
With the cost of this player it wouldn't matter if you lose it.
I bought two because it is becoming increasingly difficult to buy a player of this size and cost.
They were quickly recognised by XP and I didn't need to use the installation disk (the case with all this type of player).
For storage they work as easily as a flash stick (drag and drop, or copy and paste) but you could synchronize if you wanted.
I challenge most people to need more than 4Gb for their music collection on the go.
If you were to play the music from start to finish it would take a week of continuous play to get through the songs you could store on it, so why would you need more?
They are easy to use and buttons are not fiddly.
The sound quality is clear and strong.
Rather than the headphones supplied which are good quality I prefer the tight fitting type 'phones and bought some orange ones (also very cheaply from light in the box).
The players are funky looking and the finish is nice as well.
One of them was mistakenly set to Chinese, but thanks to the icons in the settings this was easily changed.
My son liked mine so much that he wanted to have one too.
I would recommend these players to anyone (except people with bad taste in music e.g. Abba or Bru Springsteen or more money than sense in which case get a Walkman or an i-con I mean pod).
Great value for the bucks.Sound is clear as a bell and I'm hallf deaf. The shipping was fast even tho it was a holiday. The device is easy to use and very small making it easy to carry .I will buy again from lightinthebox.Great co.
thank you paul geise
