What a piece of kit it does it all and more. Picture quality excellent, rear camera function i would not be without now. Bluetooth function good, there were some wiring problems at first but found on internet this unit should be twice the price. I was worried it wasn't going to be any good but its twice as good as i expected. More functions than my Porsche unit.

Purchased this unit for my Toyota Prado 2005. Top product, well packed and fast shipping to Australia. Unit has good build quality and finish. I was able to use the factory mounts and screws and no additional drilling was required. For my vehicle after fitting there was a small gap down each side of the unit (6mm) but it is not all that noticeable. Screen viewable in daylight and auto dims with headlights at night. The touch screen GUI works well with no delay or lag even with the GPS & DVD operating together. Icons on the home page can be positioned to some degree and your most used ones can be made larger by moving them to the top row. The PIP (picture in picture) is superb and can be positioned anywhere on the GPS screen, it can be displayed in two different sizes, locked in position or not at all though a small touch menu at the top of the screen. The picture in picture works with DVD and the SD card reader to display movies, song tracks or pictures. The unit has a basic GPS interface that will display LAT/LONG, sat signal etc with no GPS card installed. I used my iGO 8 Primo for Win CE6.0 GPS SD card. You use the basic GPS interface to locate the .exe file on the GPS SD card and the unit will then run the GPS program from the card whenever GPS is slected. I had to edit the sys.txt file on my iGO GPS card to receive the GPS input at the correct port and rate:

The DVD player pumps out good sound with a great picture, the SD reader menu is a very basic file list GUI broken up into different media types (movies, songs and pictures) that uses the DVD player software. The radio works well and is easy to use. Bluetooth when linked will download your phones contact list automatically in a few seconds but the unit fails to save it. Unit mutes radio / media for phone calls, reverse camera, GPS voice navigation instructions and GPS alerts. I did not detect any feedback or echo during my call. As my Prado did not come with steering wheel controls I can't comment on the interface. Instructions should be read carefully a number of times! Reverse camera displays automatically with reverse selected and will override all other displays. I would recommend this unit as the row of hardware buttons on the bottom of the screen frame save you from going through the touch screen menu over and over only to tweak your volume. ;-)
