I researched the options and prices. One or two units caught my eye so I talked with an agent and was assured the one I picked would fit my truck. After LITB received my payment (PayPal is best), I had it in my hands 6 days later. I installed it last weekend and by Sunday noon it was up and running. I cannot believe all the neat options within the unit some of which I may never use. I was mainly interested in the Radio, DVD/CD player, GPS, BT,SD Card reader & Aux Input. Everything works at first try and the sound is excellent. I will be ordering a map SD, Camera and TV Antenna. I installed it in my 2006 Ford Super Duty F250 but haven't had it on the road yet. Since it's installed in the original Double Din mount I expect it will have no problems.
I can honestly say I am very impressed with LITB and DHL for a fast and easy solution to my traveling companion.

Saw this product on the Nissan Patrol Forums the feedback and product use was positive
so I bought one also with the GPS FILES.
Instructions easy to follow
wiring of car the guide was also well set out and to follow
install into my 4x4 was easy as you could buy plugs to adapt the connections
all up instal was 2hrs doing the wiring conversion
2hrs removing the old cleaning the area and install
and it works very well fitted perfectly, the online menus are great to follow
the GPS works very well
Sound is superior to the older radio

Item was purchased to replace faulty unit in a toyota hiace van. Installation was simple, just followed the supplied drawings, it took about 4 hours including removal of old unit. The new unit does all of what it is advertised to do ( although haven't used GPS as I have no maps at this point) and the sound is amazing. For the price it is excellent value for money, highly recommended.

Excellent status, fast shipment! Only question, what is the BAUD (GPS) number? I am using TomTom and I see grey bars, but the 2DIN itself did see a full GPS lock.

EDIT: It is COM2 @ BAUD 4800

So This will be the third radio. I had a defect in the first one that the stereo would not shut off. I returned it with no problem. Then the second one I bought a GPS card for it and it turned out the card reader was bad. I found this out about 3 months after purchasing the stereo. Again with no hassle they are replacing. Seeing how looking through the reviews I would assume that I have just had bad luck as everyone else thinks it is a great product. I would agree if I didnt have these issues. Point is, lightinthebox has been wonderful to deal with when it comes to returns. you do need patients however. I have decided to just pay a little more to have a better stereo that is running win ce 6.

Things to consider
If you have an issue there is no phone support. Seeing how they cater to the entire world the can not possibly have operators that can translate.

It is worth buying the GPS card

The TV Antenna is too short. Way to short.

I have had a few Chinese car DVD players over the years, i have a 4WD and they travel over some pretty rough terrain.
This unit is very good for the price. I would go as far as to say that it is better than most of the similar units on Ebay or here.
Delivery was very fast from China to Australia. The Express DHL courier was fully tracked and i could watch the progress online.

The head unit has 128meg of RAM which is a good upgrade from the 64meg that the older generation units had.

The unit does not come with an ISO adapter on the cable harness. What i did was get an adapter from Aerpro that converted my car's harness to ISO. I then took the old stereo's plug to ISO and cut it off. i soldered the wires from the new stereo harness to the old harness (they are all the same colour, its very straight forward) and plugged it all in.

My SD card with IGO and Ozi worked first go in this unit, which is fantastic. You could buy the optional maps SDcard listed here, but i did not need to as i allready had one.

Its been a few weeks now and it has not missed a beat. It starts up faster than the old unit, the interface is very crisp, clean and easy to use. The RDS is very clear (other units on ebay have very small RDS that sometimes deosnt work well) - this one is very good.
You can also store the radio channels as the name of the channel sourced from RDS - this loks heaps better than being stored as a frequency.

SD and USB works great, GPS is very fast. Im not bothered with the TV tuner, but the DVD outputs well to my rear headrest players.

For $200 this is a better unit than the units on ebay for $500. Ive tested and installed a few now so i know what im talking about.

If it had the ISO plug, it would be 10/10.

Q: How to update Speed Camera info for UK? I ordered for my wifes car (7 Inch 2DIN Car DVD Player (GPS, Bluetooth, TV, RDS) #00238813) this I fitted and we are both verry happy with the way it looks and performs. We also got the rear view camera and GPS Maps for the Sygic Sat Nav and though it works very well the one thing I cant find out about is the Speed Camera warning. Even when enabled nothing happens due to the fact that one cant find or download the Speed Camera Locations! Can any one tell me what file type these are as I subscribe to a data base that alows you to get monthly updates, but I need to know if this part of the software works?
