I was very stressed out because I desperately needed to find a dress by a deadline that was swiftly approaching. I ordered this dress and it was set to arrive the day before I needed it. I had no idea if it was going to get here on time or if it would fit or if I would even like it. I ended up LOVING it. It fit perfectly and was exactly what I wanted/expected. Firstly, the dress is fantastic. It is extremely well made, fits perfectly. It is beautifully layered. The dress is reassuringly heavy due to the plentiful chiffon material. The straps and left side of midriff contains lovely diamante features. So couldn't be more pleased with the quality of this dress. So, why only three stars? Well, when this and a second dress were delivered by UPS I was landed with a bill of over £106.00 for import tax and VAT (UK rates). Lightinthebox are located in China, the price you pay is net. Whilst I don't expect lightinthebox to know what taxes I would end up paying, I think it is reasonable for them to make it abundantly clear, perhaps next to the product price, that there may be significant additional costs. I think customers deserve to be made aware of this so that they can make enquiries and then reach a conclusion as to whether the product is worth the gross cost. So I suppose the dress is worth 5 stars but lightinthebox information and communications on this matter deserve 1 star.
From the standard of dresses I have received I think I may shop with them again but will certainly add 30% to 40% on to the given net cost to judge it's value for money. You should do the same.

Q: Can I get a sample of this material in chocolate and brown ? Also, would the applique' match the brown dress or would it be the blue looking color in this picture ? I know you said the beading is the same but was wondering about the stitching on the applique, if it changes with the color of the dress ? I am torn between brown and chocolate. I really like the brown color on some of the other materials on your color chart but on the chiffon, it looks way different so thats why I was wondering if I could get a sample or at least a picture of this dress in those two colors.
