Note: The below is just a guide. We recommend that whenever possible you get a qualified seamstress to measure your dress size. Always get someone else to make the measurements for you: measuring yourself will give inaccurate numbers and could lead to disappointment.


Bust Bust - Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.	Waist Waist- This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it`s an inch or so above your belly button. Also known as the natural waistline.	Hips Hips- This is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.	Hollow to Hem Hollow to Hem- This is the length from your hollow ( the hollow just under your neck ) to your heels. (Take the tape from your front, with bare foot ). You should stand upright and your feet should keep together.

June 2009, I ordered this dress for my sister in-law to be and i have to say that the dress is amazing she looked stunning in it on her big day. The only thing that i would say is that the hand loop for the train needs to be stronger or to find another way to lift the train for the evening..

I was amazed at how the dress was packed and how easy it was to get out the box, and i was also greatful for the dress bag that came with it, as for the site the family have asked me to keep my account open for all other formal dresses that may be needed in the future.

I would recomend this site to everyone as i was amazed at the quality of the dress and the dress was delivered when stated it would.

Amazing Dress

My sister inlaw to be's wedding dress turned up this morning and i would like to thank everyone at light in the box for making her the perfect dress. It is AMAZING and she looks stunning in it, we are now thinking about getting the bridesmaids dresses from light in the box as we are delighted and overwelmed with the quality and standard of the dress.

Great Dress

My dress just came in the mail today I am so glad that I ordered it. I had the custom sizing done and it fits perfectly for the measurements that were taken. The only thing i would recomend is light in the box asking for more measurements. The length of the sleeves and around the shoulders was too big. The overall quality is excellent. I would recomend this dress to anyone!
