i received my dress today it has took 5 weeks as custom made it arrived in a small box but when I opened it was pleasantly surprised though it was longer than I expected the colour is lush, What spoiled it was the vile tacky flower they pinned on it not like picture... light in the box what!!! u playing at, either remove it altogether or change the way u do it as does the dress no justice, other wise dress good quality material heavy weight and a dress cover for it to be stored in aswell

Like many others I was nervous of ordering from this site. I too have read the negative reviews, but had also seen the amazingly positive ones. I loved the style of the dress and the photos of real women wearing this dress made me decide to take a risk and I am extremely impressed with the service and quality.
My dress is absolutely lovely, it needs taking up though but I expected that being a shorty, I won't mention the 'flower'.
When I opened up the box I was really nervous, but immediately I could see and feel the quality. The material is fab, far better than some of the dresses I have tried in bridal shops. The structure and boning of the dress is perfect for my shape. I love it and would recommend LightInTheBox providing you order in plenty of time for your event.
Mine arrived today and I get married in 10 days, lucky for me I have a mother who is a genius on a sewing machine and can make the alterations for me. I just could not find a dress I really liked until I saw this one so I realise I was 'cutting it fine'.
In short, stunning dress, lovely material, beautifully made. My top tip is just be more organised than me and order well in advance!

The dress arrived and it's gorgeous! It fits perfectly, except it seems it's been made floor-length instead of tea-length... The material is thick and sturdy, the bodice has great structure... i might get the bodice taken in just a wee bit.
The flower at the waist was kind of chintzy though... looked like something they picked up from the walmart artificial flower aisle, but it's pinned on and easily removed/replaced.
I also ordered a dress for my six year old daughter who will be my flower-girl/ring-bearer/junior bridesmaid and that dress was also really fantastic.
Overall though, for the price, this dress is absolutely amazing. I'd recommend litb in a heartbeat.

I was abit sceptical of buying my wedding dress off your site as i read some negitive reviews and buying from overseas without been able to try the dress ect but after recieving my items and know all the worrying was for nothing, i can't put into words how i feel, i took the dress out of the small box and i was like WOW , i tryed my dress on and it fits me like a glove, i had it custom made and it fit perfect and match made in heaven. I can't wait til my big day and my finance is over the moon and excited to see me in the dress. What i will say to people who are wanting to buy this dress but worried about ordering from overseas don't be go for it you will NOT be dissappointed the dress is of high quality and the photo's on the site doesn't give it justice it is truely amazing. I would like to say a big big thankyou to lightinthebox for making my dream come true and for the work they put in to making these dresses so perfect. I will of course be putting photo's on of my big day. Also i am a large lady but this dress makes me look slimmer than i am so thats a big plus. THANKYOU AGAIN :D

I commented before the wedding about the fit of the dress, but on the day of the wedding, it was even better. I got a million compliments on the dress & nobody believed how inexpensive it was (not even the seamstress I got to alter the straps!).

I ordered this dress after spending a long time deciding and the other reviews helped, especially the photos!
I am an English size 18 ,5'1", and was worried that the fit would need lots of alterations. After following the measuring guide I decided to order the normal size and, after a slight delay with delivery, was suprised when a small box arrived, especially as I had ordered 2 pairs of shoes, a jacket and headband as well as the dress!
Although my order came to 249 Euros, I had to pay 105 Euros on delivery...please be aware of this and budget for it, although this still was far cheaper than going to a bridal shop, which I did do, to discover that they charge you 1000 Pounds for a dress that comes from sites similar to this! So I say trust Light in the Box and go direct and cut out the shops, you will get a beautiful dress that is brilliant quality and workmanship for a fraction of the price!
I was worried about creasing, as I had to travel to Venice by air, but the satin is of a good heavy quality and there was hardly any creasing. I too, like many others, took the flower off as it did look a little out of place.
I ordered the champagne colour and worried about the shade matching the sling back shoes I had also ordered but I think the match was very good! I had to alter the shoulders on the dress and jacket as they were a little wide for me but I was happy with the length of the dress, which I was worried about being so short!
Being as I am 50 and this is my second marriage, this was the perfect dress! I wanted to feel like the bride but also wear something simple and elegant. I also had to get on and off boats so the length was ideal!
I will looking on Light in the Box first for my ball gowns and cocktail dresses in the future!
I had a beautiful wedding day in Venice on 29th February 2012 and my whole outfit was from Light in the Box! Very Happy!

I was amazed about the quality of the dress. It is really gourgeous and more than I expected. I was afraid that it might be a little to small so I ordered one size up, but that was not necessary - just order your normal size. I received it after 3 weeks. I am very satisfyed.

My dress has arrived!! I can't wait to wear it for my wedding in 6 weeks. It is stunning, the quality of the fabric is amazing, so soft and luxurious and moves beautifully, perfect to party the night away in. Have to have it altered slightly and the seamstress was very impressed with the quality and how well it was sewn and plenty of fabric in the seams for alterations.
