This is a very flattering style of dress. I purchased the dress in dark navy and it makes a flattering change from black. I ordered from the standard sizing matching my mesurements to the closest sized match - I went up in size rather than down and the only alterations I will have to make are to take up the hem and to shorten the length of the shoulder straps.

The workmanship is excellent. The sewing and beading are well executed and of a very high standard. There is not a raw edge or seam visible inside or outside the dress. I assumed from the description that the dress would be lined in the satin but it consists of the outer chiffon that is ruched and beaded, then the mat satin backing fabric and then the lining material. It is a beautiful dress that makes you feel very special just having it on!

I ordered it on the night of September 19 and it was delivered to me on the morning of September 26th. It did not attract any further tax or charges in Australia.

All I can say is "wow" I totally loved this dress, it fit me perfectly my clothing size is 8-10 and I ordered a size 12 just perfect.
Excellente quality, color as shown love, love the color I usually wear very little color 'cause I have light dark skin but this color worked miracles, it felt like a million dollar dress. Ordered this dress in Royal Blue for my son's wedding! In an attempt to ensure that the dress fit correctly, I chose to go with the custom measurements.

The dress was made and shipped within two weeks. Couldn't believe that they could do that. The dress was beautifully made and loved the color, however, when I tried the dress on it was extremely big on me. The measurements matched what I ordered but the dress did not fit. Was able to slide it over my head without even unzipping it.

Contacted customer service and they responded back to me with three options and apologized for the failure to deliver the correct item.

I chose one of the options and am going to get the dress altered locally.

Not many companies provide such excellent service let alone ones that you order from online. Was very please with my gown, the company and customer service and will use them in the future if needed!

A flattering dress. We have a formal wedding to attend. My other half had been complaining about having to wear a suit until he saw me in this dress then he remarked what colour shirt should I wear. He was so impressed there was no more talk about him not wanting to wear a suit. Very stlyish. Feels comfortable on. I will order again. I ordered this dress in champagne to wear as a Mother of the Bride dress this coming September and it is absolutely gorgeous!! Very nice quality. Way prettier than in the picture. I'm 5'9 and 128 pounds. The online chat folks recommended a size 10 due to my measurements but I didn't mind and ordered an 8! Love to live on the edge and I'm usually always a 4 or 6 in dresses....luckily it fits almost perfectly!!! (Not that I advise ignoring the size the chat folks suggest, and I know formal dresses can sometimes fit differently than other ones) but I took a chance! Will maybe need to come in a tad at the hips and may need to shorten the length since I'm a clutz in heels. Since I'm a little busty, wont need to alter the straps like some of the other folks have had to do. The beading is beautiful and adds some fun bling - I can't wait for the wedding to wear it!!! Haven't felt this pretty since my wedding :0) Do not hesitate to order a dress from Light in the Box!!!!! Happy Shopping!!

I ordered this dress on line and I ordered it in Dark Green. I have never seen a green this beautiful the colors shown show no justice for the color dress I rececived and the dress is beatiful. It is a five star dress for sure.

I purchased this dress in chocolate brown for my son's wedding. The measuring guide was very accurate. I did have to have the straps and the length shortened, but other than that the dress fit perfectly. I loved this dress! Everyone complemented me on how beautiful the dress was and wanted to know where I found it. I had never ordered from Lightinthebox before, but will definitely do so again in the future.

I am extremely happy with my purchase of this dress. I was afraid that it might not come in time for my event but it was delivered in exactly two weeks from the day I ordered it. The color is beautiful, it is extremely well made and, with the exception of the shoulder straps being a bit too long, it fits me perfectly! When I took the dress to a seamstress friend of mine to have the shoulder straps shortened she even mentioned how extremely well made the dress was and, if anyone know quality she does!
