My dress was awesome. The alterations were great (I submitted my measurements). All of the bride's maids bought their dresses off loghtinthebox.com, however, I was the only one who's dress fit perfectly, because I had the right alterations. I was very satisfied with it.

I wrote a review the day I got them; here's an update:
The custom sizes fit very well, although three of my bridesmaids had to have the straps altered, due to their shorter height. All in all, I consider that a very minor problem, especially considering how much money we saved and even more, how it saved us from a major headache! My girls were able to pick out the dress they liked, and they fit very well and looked great. They all said it wouldn't be a dress they would toss into the back closet - they could reuse them for cocktail parties, dress-up occasions, etc. That was my hope, and Light in the Box made it possible. If I hadn't already made my wedding dress when I found LITB, I would have ordered it too!

All my girls wore this dress in my recent wedding and it was PERFECT! I couldn't believe how well it fit everyone, we had a 12 yr old to a 23 yr old wear it and it fit everyone to a T. Very satisfied with the make of the dress did not look cheap at all. One word of advice though would be to order material swatches if you are looking for an exact color. My colors were cranberry, chocolate brown, and ivory, and these dresses were NOT cranberry ha ha, despite the online material preview. So buyer beware of actual material color, but other then that a great purchase!

Dress was a little small around the underarms, but the fit everywhere else is perfect. I had a custom fit purchase which is a great option for a tall and thin body where conventional sizes do not fit well. I was also surprised by the quality of the dress, double layer of material which means the dress floats over the body very nicely. Stictching around the zip was a little rough though.

Q: Pregnant Bridesmaid... I am in a wedding before the end of this year and at the time of the wedding I will be 20 weeks pregnant. The bride chose this particular dress. (Have you guys ever made this for a pregnant person even?) How on earth do I order this so it will fit me when I have no idea how big I will be? This is not my first child, and I know you show faster earlier after you have a baby. I need some help figuring out how to guess my measurements? Q: measuring four someone in a wheelchair I will be sitting in a wheelchair when I wear this dress. Should I measure my hollow – to – floor from a seated position or standing? What do you do with this measurement? Also, I am very short waisted. How do I know the bodice of the dress will be the appropriate length? How do I know the straps will be the right length?
