I was like many of the ladies who have written a review - very scared - about bying my bridesmaids dresses online (product unseen) particularly when Im so far away in Australia. So I decided to purchase my chosen dress in my own size first, so if it was not good, my girls didnt lose out. So I measeure and fell into a regular size '2' (which is around a size 6-8 in Australia) I chose the colour I thought I wanted to go with then I ordered. It said it would take about 4-6 weeks, however it arrived in only 3 weeks! Immediately the quality was the first thing I noticed, the beautiful box, the zip lock bag, then THE DRESS! WOW! the quality was higher then alot I'd seen in stores here! so I tried it on and was SOLD. It is everything Id hoped and more. It has a bra strap that holds you, its lined, it feels amazing and the quality and fabrics are beautiful - Thank you! (PS- I also purchased the fabric swatch booklet albeit before the dress arrived, but that allowed me to see the fabrics first hand in case I decided on a different colour - which I ended up deciding on something different so the girls didnt have the same dress as me!) Im In love Light in the Box!) I will post better photos after my wedding this year in Oct - Thank you!

Bought this for my bridesmaid ! At first im a bit worried about the quality but decided to take the plunge. Wow i am amazed! its beautifully packaged with tags and the dress is well made. Im very predantic and i checked every corner and the dress is great. Its padded too so you dont need to wear a bra. It has a support elastic bra inside. I got my sister to model it! Isnt it awesome? I got the blue color which is more like aqua color :)

Really happy with the dress - posted a big review on my blog "Frocks and Frou Frou" but the pictures speak for themselves. Two thumbs up.

This is my second time purchasing from LITB and I am again extremely impressed and thrilled! I got this dress to see if I want to order for my bridesmaids and it is absolutely perfect. The dress is well-structured - it's better than a similar flimsier dress that I got online from a well-known US retailer for more than double the price - heavy fabric/lining, well-made, the chiffon is very nice and the colour was the "wine" shade I was hoping for (I ordered it in "Grape"). It arrived one day before the estimated arrival date which was stated the time of purchase. I am definitely going to order the other BM dresses from them! I just ordered this dress in "jade" (and a lace shrug in "ivory"). I customized the size, but I am between a 22/24 on the size chart for this dress. If anyone wants to see pictures of what the dress looks like on a plus-sized woman in the "jade" colour, leave an email address in the comments section.

The dress (and shrug) is expected to ship March 31st, so I should be able to send pictures by the second week of April. If the dress looks flattering enough, I will post pictures in a second review, for everyone to see.

I'm expecting duty/taxes to be about $60+handling fee (on a $175 order), so be prepared for the extra cost. I knew about this cost before ordering, so there will be no surprises upon delivery.

EDIT: Dress shipped March 25th (Ordered on March 9th). Estimated arrival is March 28th. I will update with pictures then.

EDIT 2: Dress arrived March 28th. It's bit big/loose in the bust and a little in the waist but I don't mind getting it tailored. It's tough to get measurements exact when you're not actually being fitted in the dress, so I'm very pleased with the fit. Also, the colour is not what I was expecting for the Jade, but I really like it. The quality is AMAZING. The construction, built in bra, boning etc... make this dress spectacular. I've attached pictures.

I was very leary about ordering this bridesmaid dress for my daughter online. I expected to have problems with, color, size, quality, etc. However, all my dreams came true and my daughter loves it and so does the bride-to-be, who happens to be my oldest daughter. It fits her great and the color is beautiful, just like the picture in the add. Also, the quality in craftmanship is outstanding. The fit is perfect, doesn't even need to be altered. My favourite part of this dress is the top, the sweetheart line and the fitted support so you don't need to wear a bra underneath. I recommend this dress style for those who want to have a lovely top line and a comfortable relaxed lower half. It particularly suits someone with small hips, as is my body type, and I would not recommend this dress style if you have large hips or bottom because this dress will add to that. The dress is very well made and is comfortable. From time of purchase to delivery Lightinthebox kept me informed as to the processing time and delivery. I would definitely use them again because they did exactly what they said they would do in terms of service and the dress did not disappoint.

i bought two of these dresses and i have to say they are beautiful, well worth the money can't fault them at all. The only small problem i had was a delay in delivery however the customer service department dealt with this promptly, i would recommend this site to anyone.
