I ordered this dress July 20, 2012 and received it August 9, 2012. There was no import/duty tax for me on delivery. I live in the U.S. I ordered this dress because I am very plus size with a pear shape. I think the dress is simple. BUT...it is a lot of dress. It has at least a three foot train and is a little long in the front. I had the dress made with custom measurements and it fits perfectly aside from the hollow to hem. I added a hoop petticoat and that brings up the length. I removed the bow and added a pewter color sash to cover the ribbon and break up all the white. I added the pin that came with the dress to the sash. The pin is very sparkly and has a vintage look. The ribbon is sewn into the dress and sits lower under the bodice than I expected. I wanted a dress that came up high enough in the back and this one does. This dress seems fragile as I have tried it on twice and the tulle already snagged. I don't think it will survive my outdoor wedding with out some damage. However, it is simple and pretty. I got a floor length veil and small tiara to go with it and I love it all together. It really has a vintage feel that I wanted. The dress is extremely well made. The lining is a thick satin. There is boning in the bodice but not enough to be fully supportive without a bra. I will upload some pictures of the dress later after my wedding in October. Update: The dress fit me well for my size and I felt pretty on my wedding day. I am uploading pictures because I know as a very large bride it is hard to get an idea what a dress will look like on a real plus size person. I am very pleased! Oh and the dress held up very well dragged all through the park.

I like the idea of a wider sash. Thanks for posting pictures- it is harder for us plus-sized women to judge how it will look on us, & whatever I end up ordering, I want to know it will look good. You looked great!
