My dress eventually arrived yesterday having placed the order with Light in the Box on the 28th February. Delivery was therefore a little longer than i had expected (I did not order a custom made dress) but still it arrived in plenty of time for the occasion. At the time i placed my order i was unaware of the extra charges that i would have to pay for import/duty taxes for delivery into the UK but I did actually find out about these "hidden charges" before my order arrived so at least i was aware i would have to pay extra. I would suggest that maybe Light in the Box could make confirmation of these "hidden charges" more apparent on their website so as to avoid disappointment. The details are on the website but you really have to search hard to find them! One of the reasons i purchased from Light in the Box (or so i thought) was the exceptional value of the dress (£58.89 plus £12 delivery). The extra charges I was expected to pay upon receipt of my order was £25.18 so all in all the dress cost me £97.90. I do not blame Light in the Box for this but think these hidden charges should be more apparent on the website as obviously a lot of people do not realise they will be charged extra upon receipt of delivery. Upon receipt of my dress I found it was packaged into a very pretty but much tinier box than i had expected and so the dress was a little creased. However, enough negatives! The dress is a beautiful colour and very well made and of very good quality - it ifeels rather heavy but is very comfortable to wear. I have to admit I was a little dubious about ordering from Light in the Box especially once i had found out about the import/duty taxes and due to Light in the Box's return/refund policy. I am not really a girly girl and do not really do pretty little dresses but i needed a special dress for a very special occasion - something a little different - and I have to admit i was not disappointed!! This dress is absolutely beautiful, very flattering and very classy/elegant and perfect for the occasion in mind!! I cannot wait to wear the dress and overall had a good shopping experience with Light in the Box. I dont think i will be ordering on from Light in the Box on a regular occasion but if another special occasion arises then i would have no hesitation in returning!

The dress is very well made with good material and it fits perfectely. I am very satisfied with the product. The negative part comes from the shipping and the extra cost I had to pay when it came in. I paid $21.21 for shipping and insurance. Once shipped, It was supposed to take 3 to 5 days to get here but it took 13 days. They could not find my house. Then I had to pay $40.95 for duty, taxes and brockage fee. So a $86.39 dress cost me $148.55. Good thing I love the dress.

I am really happy with the packaging and timely delivery of this dress. It is very difficult to find clothes that fit me well; and, this dress is beautiful , well made and actually fits me. I would like to see your designers make more clothing, with some kind of sleeve, for the mature woman. Not everyone is a young, sexy woman; yet, we all want to look and feel beautiful (and sexy!).
