This dress is beautiful, the color I chose was champagne and it really is perfect. I will have to alter this dress due to the neckline being too large. The quality of the sewing is top of the line. It is a beautiful dress which was delivered in the time frame specified. I wore the dress for a formal cocktail party. I had been looking everywhere for a dress for my son's wedding & came across Light in the Box by accident, but I'm really glad I did!
When I saw this dress I knew this was "the one", and once it arrived I was not disappointed, as far as I am concerned it is absolute perfection!!
I was a little worried about some of the reviews which said the arms were too tight, but I haven't found this to be the case.
I would definitely recommend buying from Light in the Box, and would do so again myself without hesitation.

The dress is fabulous! I ordered a twelve and it fits perfectly. No alteration will be needed. The most wonderful thing about this dress is the workmanship and fabric. It is so beautifully made! It looks just like picture and it feels so good. The lining is soft and the internal seams are so beautiful the dress is practically reversible! I can't wait for the wedding to show it off!

trying to find the perfect dress for my son's wedding. This dress is lovely but i have a question about the fabric. Is it polyester or silk? I worry I will be too hot if it is polyester. This style is exactly what I need...like the modest neckline and the sleeves yet it is stylish and not too matronly. Can anyone tell me what the fabric is: silk or polyester...I know the price indicates poly. or if it is poly did anyone get too hot wearing it, is it scratchy? really love the look.

The dress was of outstanding quality and workmanship. I was very impressed by the attention to detail. The sewing is expert. I got my dress in brown. The brown organza is slightly more goldish than the satin underneath which is like milk chocolate. The swatches on the website were actually representative. The embroidery on the sleeves is goldish with brown beads and sequins. The dress is very low-cut on someone endowed in the bodice area. I am very pleased.

Q: Siizing My measurements are bust 40. Waist 35. Hips 42 and i am 5'2". According to the chart i guess size 14 is closest but in stores 12 is too big. Just realized mine would not be custom sized. What should I order. My seamstress said did not need hollow to flour for a knee length dress. She measured hollow to hem line as 40. I wish mine could be made to fit me. Please advise. Q: when done in a light color (pool, sky blue or sage) would the satin underneath be white or matching Some organza models are in white satin underneath like in the model http://www.lightinthebox.com/a-line-strapless-floor-length-organza-evening-dress_p204237.html and this makes the color a lot paler . Obviously in the presented model which is dark navy , the satin underneath is dark blue as expected. Q: What is the arm circumference for a 16W and 18W? I am noticing that the circumference in each size seems to go up 1/2 inch. I just want to find out if that holds true for all sizes and what the exact arm measurement is for certain sizes. ByLisa Feb 26, 2013

Q: I am large busted. my concern is shoulder and arm room for comfort. what are sizes for a 16 for both widest part of my arm is 11.5 inches. Shoulder/arm hold measures 18.5 inches - this is the size this would need to be minimum for me to be able to get the dress on!
