A-line V-neck Knee-length Satin Wedding Dress

The wedding dress was worn for my civil wedding on 1st may 2012. The dress really looks elegant though simple. I adore and can surely wear for any other special occaision.

I ordered based on custom measurements.
What I like: Flattering cut, feels solid and well-made when on. In general, it fits.
What I feel neutral about: The dress itself is also a bit longer on me than pictured -- it falls an couple inches below the knee. Also, I paid about 25 Euro import tax + other fees -- for anyone shipping to Germany, you might want to add that to your expected costs.
What I don't love: The neckline is extremely low on me (with a large bust), and the back and straps are somewhat loose. However, it looks like it should be possible to shorten the straps and take the back in a bit, thereby fixing the neckline problem. I've included a second picture with me holding the loose bits together to show how I think it could look after I have it altered. I expect that has to do with the pattern not being designed for a large bust -- the dress fits insofar as it matches the measurements I submitted. It seems that the software responsible for the extending the pattern simply didn't take cleavage into account...
Overall: A much better starting point than anything I could find in the stores, but it will need a fair amount of work before it is perfect.

Dress was beautiful. There were pieces of thread that needed trimming all over the dress. Stitching seemed to be professional.
Product was impeccable, customer service was not. The dress did not fit me and I could not return it.

I ordered this dress in a standard size 6; I am not quite sure if this is my wrong estimation (as I never bought anything in US size before) but the dress is way too big. I'm usually a size 8UK and this looks like a 12UK. It is too long and too large and needs to be fixed from pretty much everywhere.
Apart from the size issue, the fabric is fantastically rich, beautiful and sewn with great care. I find this dress surprising and unusual and once it fits me I'm sure I'll love it.

J'habite en Ile de France, et j'ai reçu à temps ma robe, elle est magnifique, elle est de très belle qualité en effet, je l'ai prise en taille 4 américaine (un 36) et de couleur ivoire, je posterai une photo dès que possible, mais je suis vraiment ravie!
La coupe est chic et moderne, comme je cherchais, rien à redire, je suis prête pour le Grand Jour )))
J'ai commandé avec les chaussures, impeccables, et un sac, super mignon aussi, je ne suis pas déçue!
