I ordered this dress with the light pink trim it was beautiful. I never even tried on another dress before I bought this one. I was nervous about ordering it online so i just got it fitted locally, it fit perfectly in the standard size except the length, it was almost a foot too long (im 5'5 and wore flats). My girls got their dresses from davids bridal and the pink matched perfectly. It was beautiful.

- I see that while you have made recommendations for petticoats, you say several times in reply to questions that one is not necessary and that this dress is made poufy, like the picture. Should I assume, then, that there are layers of tulle that are under the skirt, as part of the dress?? Is that why a petticoat is not necessary to achieve the full skirt look that is in the picture?
- I am short-waisted, and if I order this dress, I do plan to use the custom sizing option. However, that does not ask for a measurement that provides the length from (for example) my bust to my waist. Can I provide those measurements to ensure that the bodice is not too long?
- Is it possible to order swatches of the satin options that this dress comes in (for example, ivory, pink and champagne), so that I can see them in person before I choose the color? I realize that you have pictures of the colors on your site, but I was wondering if I could order actual swatches of the fabric.

But if you prefer a puffier look, you can wear a petticoat.
