Got married June 14, 2011 in Cuba and I ordered this dress in Sept 2010. Overall shipping process was good, the quality was good as well despite a few little things I needed altered like the underskirt was a little bit bigger than what fit over my hips and the straps were too long.
I did do custom fitting and overestimated just in case of weight gain or loss so when I had it altered it was fitted perfectly and they were very minor alterations. Overall I would say my experience with LITB has been very enjoyable in regards to my dress- I ordered shoes from here and had a bigger issue but that's now in the past and my shoes worked out for me regardless.
I myself have a petite frame and I'm very short (5' 1") but this dress was exquisite and it looked like a million bucks. I promised to share pictures when I had them after the wedding so here are a couple

My daughter and I just unpacked this tiny little package - and wow - there were 2 dresses, 2 handbags, one ringcushion and 2 garment bags in there. The people who pack must be magicians.
It took quite some time to get the dress to Australia - we ordered on the 1st Feb and received it 14th March. We gave ourselves plenty of time for the Wedding in May just in case there are alterations to be done.
Now to the dress: I am glad we ordered it custom made (in Ivory) and the fit is perfect - even the straps.
We don't know about the length yet as the bride hasn't got her shoes yet.
As to the workmanship: I come from a long line of dressmakers and have to say the finishing of the garment is very professional considering the price you pay.
If anyone has doubts about ordering from this site (as we did) I can only put your mind at ease. I've seen many dresses in bridal shops for 4 times the amount and they did not look any better than this dress for approx. AU$ 220. (I see it has even gone down in price again...)
I only have one small critisism: the way the train is attached. I was hoping it would button on but there are only 3 little hooks which you can see when the train is attached. We'll have to stich the hooks a little deeper so you can't see them.
All in all 8 out of ten - this dress really looks a lot nicer in real life then it does on the LITB model.

Both my wife and I wore this same dress to our same sex ceronmony in Jan 2011. We had them custom made for us and the dresses fit almost close to perfect with the measurements we gave. We had the straps slightly ammended in Australia. But other than that we were extremely happy with how well the dressers were made. We did attach a coloured train to the exsisting train to individualise them to our own personalities which enhanced the look of the dress as well. The train was detactable which was perfect to take off for our reception. Light in the Box were fast with shipping and were excellent with all there communication and updates. I would definitely recommend Light in the Box. Measure yourself correctly with a bit extra space more than anything. Our dressmaker was impressed with the workmanship for the price.

I love my dress and will send in a picture after alterations. I really think the dress looks much better in person that in the photo. Seriously impressed with the quality (and the service LITB provide) I initially ordered a UK 6 and started getting worried it would be too small, LITB were very helpful and I managed to to change to UK 8. I wish I sent in measurements because the dress is very big in the boob area and I have to pay for alterations. No fault to LITB, I would rather it be too big that too small. Am paying half the price of the dress for alterations (£65 not too bad, so I have been told)

The only down side to my order was I ordered two items together knowing I would have to pay import charges, thought I would save myself a few quid, unfortunately, LITB sent them out separately with no explanation and I had to pay twice. I tried to resolve the issue before the next it was sent out but it all happened at the same time and LITB never gave reason to why they sent them out separately. I love both items and cant fault that at all. LITB service before and during my orders were excellent and very helpful.

The dress absolutely beautiful.

Just received my dress today and it looks AMAZING on me :))) Like everyone else I was a little worried to order my wedding dress online....but nothing to worry about. My dress is here and it's perfect! I ordered it on 10/24/11 and received it today 11/7/11...exactly 2 weeks.

I ordered the dress with my custom measurements...fits like a glove. The dress is beautiful and the price is unbeatable.

I ordered this dress in ivory and it's beautiful. I will need some alterations eventhough I ordered it with my custom measurements. This is the first time I've ordered a dress online and was prepared I may not like it but it'll be perfect for my wedding on the beach. The dress is very well made. I am so happy I took a chance and ordered it. The price is great too. I live in northern Canada and most people I know have to fly to a city to find a dress ($$$). It arrived in about a month after I placed the order.

I really like this dress and would love to wear it for my wedding in July. I will be about 20 weeks pregnant at that point and I am wondering if you think it is possible to convert it slightly around the tummy area??? Of course I cant give exact measurements as I dont know how big I will be. What are your thoughts on this?
