I bought this dress in Royal Blue for a black tie function and I have to say, I couldn't have been happier with it. The quality was absolutely amazing and the fit and cut were second-to-none. The one thing I will say to anyone planning to buy is to make sure you measure yourself exactly according to the guide on the site rather than just buying your "off the peg" dress size, as the sizes run a little small. I'm a US size 4-6, but bought the 8 in this dress as that's where my measurements fell in the size guide, and it fit like a glove.

I had to have the dress taken up a couple of inches and like many others, my dressmaker commented on the quality of the gown.

I chose standard delivery and it took 9 days in total (including weekends) to travel between China & Dublin.

I received so many compliments on this dress on the night and I can't wait to wear it again. I'm just sorry to say that the pictures actually don't do it justice at all, it really is a stunning gown. All in all, I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Light in the Box to anyone, and will definitely buy from here again.

I live in Australia and I received the dress in about 4 weeks. I ordered an Aust size 10 (I am a size 10 normally) in royal blue. I was a bit nervous at first but read the great reviews and decided to give it a go! It fits like a glove…it is beautiful…very flattering! I am blonde with blue eyes so this colour is well suited for me. I was so impressed with the quality of the dress. I bought a dress last year for the work gala and it cost me 4 times the price and I would say the LITB dress is just as good. I have posted 2 photos. Thank you LITB I am very happy. I will be ordering from you again!

This dress is stunning. It makes me feel (and look) like a movie star! I can't wait to wear this to the black tie affair I'm scheduled to attend. I was surprised at the quality of the dress; it is VERY well made. I generally wear between a size 8 and size 10; I ordered the size 10 and it fits like I had it custom made. It hides my small gut which is exactly what I was looking for lol. I will definitely order from light in the box again. I love it!

This was the first time ordering from this site. I needed a formal gown for an awards banquet this past Saturday night. I browsed this site and found many beautiful dresses and chose this one. I am tall, blonde with blue eyes so i chose the dark green color as something new for me as I usually wear black, navy or brown. It also looked beautiful on the model. The processing and delivery time promised was spot on and I received the dress in the nick of time for the function and I only needed to get the length altered. I must admit that the color of the dress was more green than the one on the model which looked more like and army green but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I cannot tell you how many compliments I received that night. The color was stunning, the workmanship was amazing and the price was the best part. I have told everyone who saw me that night about this site and I am certain many more will be ordering.
I will be making all of my formal dress purchases through LightInTheBox from now on and I will tell everyone I know as well!!
Advice for new customers- the colors of the gowns are CLOSE to the color they display so when ordering make sure it does not have to match exactly and you will be pleased. The dress color was a little bit brighter than the computer color if that helps. I also ordered the dress in one to two sizes larger than I regularly wear in normal clothing but check the size chart and you should be fine. I did not have the time to order in a custom size but I will try that next time.

Wow what can I say this dress is gorgeous and classy. Ordered the dress in dark navy and looks stunning on - very comfortable and make you feel like a princess.

The only alteration I needed to have done was the length but I think that's a huge bonus it being too long as it allows you to have it adjust to hang perfect with the shoes you intend to wear.

I ordered the dress with very little time before the dinner and to my amazement it only took 10 days and that included delivery!

There's no question about it I will always buy my evening / special occasion dresses from Light In The Box and recommend you do too - you wont be disappointed!

I recently received this lovely dress and I am very pleased. Due to my none model like stature I decided to have this dress tailored to fit me and it does fit beautifully. I tried it on as soon as I received it and had my husband assist me zipping it up in the back and he was also complimentary. His comment was "very nice"! I have already told a few others about your site and the good service I received, especially when I didn't get my measurements correct.
