This is an update to my review (by Summer - below, from November 2nd, 2011) The dress was perfect for my event, I had SO many compliments on it! I would recommend the dress and the site to anyone :)

I decided to order this dress with custom measurements and I am so happy that I did! It fit like a glove! The front was a little revealing so I did have that sewn up a few inches, but that was just my personal preference. The dress was made really well and the fabric and sewing was done far more superior than I had expected. I got tons of compliments on my dress and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely be back to Light In the Box for any future dress needs!

I was very nervous about ordering a dress online without being able to try it on. Based on the previous reviews, I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad I did!

I ordered the dress on October 19th and I needed it to arrive before November 11th as the timeframe and cust. service rep I spoke with estimated it would arrive on November 10th.

I was nervous it wouldn't arrive on time but it was delivered today! It only took a total of 14 days or 10 working days...I am so amazed!!! Now I can wear it to a black tie event I have this Saturday, as well as the original event I needed it for next Friday! And it's such a great price!!

I never wear red but it looked so great on the model so I went for it and got it in red and I am sooo glad that I did. I don't look at all like the model :) but I wanted to attach a photo of me, I tried it on immediately when it arrived. I will post another one from the day of the event as well. Please excuse the terrible photo, my scowl and my claw hand, that was my first cell phone mirror photo and, well, it's just awkward :) Judge the dress, not me!

I am 5'9'' and my measurements fit the size 8 to a tee. I should be able to wear a 3 inch heel with the dress and it will still dust the floor. I don't have a large bust (34 B) and since the front of the dress doesn't plunge too much, it is very approproiate and shows just the right amount of skin, its sexy without being innapropriate. I do have on a padded push up bra to fill it out a little and give it a little lift :) but there are bra cups sewn into the dress. It is very well lined and looks VERY well made.

It fits great and I will not need to alter it at all! I could not be happier with it!

The slit up the front does come up pretty high (as it shows in the model photo) so I may need to hand sew it down the front an inch or two just for a little more modesty....I am long waisted so others may not have the same issue as me with it coming up a little too high.

I would highly recommend this dress and buying from this website, it was a great experience!

Je suis en amour avec cette robe. je l'ai acheter ce moi ci dans ce site pour mon bal qui aura lieu le 21 juin 2013, et pour ne pas mentir elle me va a merveille. au début javais peur quelle ne soit pas a ma taille, et que je ferai beaucoup de modification. Mais non, je nai pas a faire grand chose, elle est parfaite.

I bought the dress in RoyaBlue for my best-friends wedding last May.. It was a complete hit! I love the way it was lined, built in bra cups made me look flawless. My only only error( at my own fault) was i bought the dress by size instead i properly getting measured- resulted in having to have the shoulders taken in- aside from that!! rock star quality!!

I ordered this dress using only my bust size as I didn't have the extra time for a custom fit. It was a size 18W. I was extremely pleased with the fit and quality. I had to have about 4" taken up because I am "vertically challenged" even with the 5" heels I purchased to go with this dress. I was very self concious about the low cut, so my seamstress used some of what she took from the hem and made a snap in insert for the bust. This dress was very flattering. I will definitely be ordering from Light in the Box again. I was at a formal function with over 100 business owners and many women asked where I got this beautiful dress. I'm sure they will be ordering from here too.

I wore this dress to the Barristers' ball and received lots of compliments. More importantly, I felt beautiful and very elegant wearing it. Thank you so much for altering it to my measurements! It fit like a glove.

Also, thank you for the speedy processing and shipping, it arrived days earlier than estimated.

FYI, I'm wearing a black bandeau bra-top because the neckline is very low.

I recently bought this dress and LOVE it!! I put in my measurements and it came out perfect to the T! I am happy with the decision and purchase... I am not a thin girl but very flattering

Bought dress for a Marine ball.

Recommend paying close attention to measurements as the dress runs really small.

I purchased size 6. Tailor took in a slight on the shoulders.

Looks exactly as pictures.
