Yes it should work OK. The best way check if your car is compliant is to check the car user manual or contact your local car dealer.
Do I need to have my car running while performing diagnostics?
Just the ignition, but for some tests you might require the engine to be running.
Can I update the 704 VAG-COM software on the internet?
This cable package is only available for use with the software version of 704.1 which is included. You should never try to update it.
Can I use this cable with other software such as _________ that my brother recommended?
The CVFG-A09 model VAG-COM diagnostics cable comes with software. If may also work with other software, but we have not tested it with any other software and can not guarantee performance or compatibility with anything other than what is provided.

Return & Replacement
What can I do if I receive the product with quality problem?
- Products with quality problem(includes transport damaged) in 7 days can be returned and refund.

c. Air Mail
For air mail, delivery time is between 15 - 20 days for all major destinations. Shipping cost is PRETTY low, although the delivery time is a bit longer. Order tracking and shipping insurance are not available with shipping by Air Mail.
