The box has everything I need, but the manual is very difficult to follow. I'm unable to log into the LAN network. Tried the default username and password and account created names and passwords but nothing lets me in. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks in anticipation.

I am very pleased with the 4 channel DVR security reciever i bought from Light In The Box.

This great product, I have problem is in the infrared

this unit failed, is on straight, never off

I speak complaint on 02/04/12 that respond in 1 business day

never answered the phone goes faulty

I am saddened by the lack of customer support, who do not respond
say it is processing the claim, I paid, and
I have a defective device, consider a real neglect
with the client

I would like to continue to buy the lightinbox, but I lost confidence

I paid for a product they thought it was good
but they gave me a faulty product

I am sorry for this disregard of lightinbox

It works... it isn't terrible but this is why it only gets three stars. If Lightinthebox cares to offer details, I will be happy to give this product two more stars.

1. Documentation is absolutely horrible! Not just the poor English but also lacking in information. So many features are either not documented or poorly explained.

2. Who the heck makes this unit? Like nearly every product purchased from LITB, there is no mention of the manufacturer. This means ZERO support. You are on your own with this and nearly any other product purchased here.

3. B/c of #2, I was on my own in finding mobile apps... TIP: For iPhone, get Super mEye. For Android, get Meye. If anyone knows of better apps, please post a review. BTW, none of these apps allow review of recordings.

4. Web browsing only seems to work in Internet Explorer (I am using v9).

5. B/c of #2, I still cannot get the following features to work:
email notifications, video regions (ignore areas are ignored), download videos, delete selected
videos, firmware updates (where do I go?), bunch of features under NetService that are
undocumented/not explained - changes made in the web browser

6. All cameras must be either NTSC or PAL (cannot mix). Why is this a negative? B/c LITB mistakenly sent me a mix of NTSC and PAL cameras... that is, despite my specification of only NTSC (my invoices specify NTSC). So, I am only able to use 2 of the four cameras and it isn't worth returning! Major fail for LITB!

Also note that the maximum recording resolution is 704x480. This was expected and advertised so this is not a negative. I just wish LITB sold megapixel DVRs and cameras.

Anyone know the model number of this unit and whether or not the source code is available or if hacks are available.

There is so much room for improvement and if no one else has done so, I would like to do this myself.
