Thank you Light in the Box, I received my gown in record time and it was great!

I wore it to the Australian version of the Academy Awards and the big winner on the night was the film 'The Sapphires' so I was perfectly on trend in my amazing royal blue sequined gown, so much so I was interviewed by The Morning Show because they loved my dress so much!

For those ordering you will not be disappointed but be prepared to make slight alterations to fit the dress perfectly to your shape. I had my dressed altered slightly as the lining was too tight but the outside of the dress was perfect. I also had under the bust pinned in to bring it in, and I cut quite a bit off the train as it was way too long for me, but for someone needing a long sweeping train this is perfect!

I am so thrilled with my dress and still get comments, I felt amazing in it! Thanks and I would highly recommend Light in the Box to anyone!

I ordered it in the Royal blue, size 16W. It is gorgeous! My niece said she had to hug me when I had it on because I looked like a princess! It is very fancy. The train is much longer than I thought and the dress itself is a little loose around the waist and a little tight under the arms but nothing major. I love it. This is my second dress that I ordered from Light in the box and I will order again!!! Here are some photos of the dress. I wore it in December 2011. Loved it and got tons of compliments from friends and strangers!

Im a student at Wainuiomata High and was soo last minute with my choice of dress. I wanted something different but unique. I saw this dress online and ordered it just weeks before my ball. It arrived 2days before my ball (thank god) and hate to admit, i was'nt so sure about it ? but luckly my girls were there to make me love it, once i tried it on. My perspective on the dress changed once i actually got to the ball ! none had the same dress, and well i was pleased with the design. My dress arrived quick and is gorgeous. I have ordered from Lightinthebox before and knew that a size 12 (my normal size) would be way too big in the bra area and waist. I ordered it in size 10 and it fitted perfect. I am very tall so the length was just right for me. I ordered it in gold and yes, it was a little more gold than the picture but was still lovely. Very well made and can't wait to wear it again. I wore it to a Hollywood night and I received so many comments about how beautiful my dress was. Definitely a show stopper!

May 23rd 2013. I received soooo many compliments, this dress allowed me to really take control of the runway. The train was perfect but I added a little coverage to the bust area. I am over the moon! Ordered on 1/24 and received it today. It is gorgeous beyond belief! It is very long on me (I'm 5'7") but will wear tall heels. Shorter gals will need to have it taken up. Built in bra is fabulous! I will be a standout at the "Classic Hollywood" party this weekend. I will post photos!

Q: Could this dress be made without (or with a much smaller) train? I would love to wear this to my senior prom (it's gorgeous!), but i'm worried about the train. you can see in the specification part: tailoring time 7 to 9 working days and shipping time 3 to 8 working days, so about 3 weeks you can get it because they are made from scratch.

Yes. If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few inches in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. Dresses generally have a margin of 1 inch on either side of a seam. Flower detailing, beading or belts/ribbons may limit ability to let a dress out.
