This dress was stunning and fit like a glove, everyone at my prom loved it! There are a few things you should be aware of though: The upper (lace) part of the dress has sequins sewn on it (I had them removed). The breast section that isnt lace is very scandalous and shows some side boob, there is no bra you can wear that will not show. Also the train on the bottom is a train made for a wedding dress, its really long, so it was about $60 to get it hemmed/taken off, to make it look like a prom dress. And finally I ordered in in red and in the sunlight it looked more orange than red. Overall, though it was a lot more work than expected to make the dress exactly what I wanted, it was a great choice and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I love lightinthebox! The customer service is great - even though my dress came later than promised due to the prom season, they took care of my needs and I still got the dress on time. Just give yourself plenty of time to order so there's no disappointments. The quality is superb - well lined, quality materials, and hand-sewn details. A professional seamstress looked at the dress and was impressed at the sewing! This color is lavender chiffon. I also got custom measurements which I highly recommend because its worth it. I got this dress in black to wear to an event where some women pays thousands for their dresses. The quality of this dress was amazing. I wore it in a size 14 and although it would have looked better is I was a size 10 it still looked great on. I am a 38C and the dress did not need a bra. I do suggest toupe tape so that the top of the dress stays put on the sides.

I ordered this dress for my prom in ivory and when i got it, it looked more white than ivory, so i dyed the bottom half of my dress to make it look less like a wedding dress. I'm usually a size 0-2 (canadian/us sizes) so i was a bit confused when i took measurments and ended up being a size 6, but i ordered this dress in size 6 and it fit like a glove, i only had to remove the train from the dress and it was good to go. Definitely make sure you take measurements before ordering the dress! Other than the colour, i had absolutely no complaints about this dress and i'm definitely going to be purchasing more from litb!

Q: Why have girls in the past gotten other colors that are not offered? I am completely in love with this dress, but I would need it in champagne. Looking at the previous questions asked, it seems there are a lot of costumers that you are losing because you will not sell this dress in other colors than black, white, or ivory.
