I got mine just yesterday, and it was exactly what i expected from a brandless laptop: works fine, simple interface, not the speed demon that other laptops would be, but well worth the price for a portable net machine, or, for my purposes, writing on the go.
That said, I'd offer this kind of laptop up for children and computer illiterate folks as well, it has a much easier learning curve than any other operating system i have seen, and while it doesn't have an expansive library of programs to download and install, it has just as many as you really need for on the go computing. really the best deal, at least until this next quarter when Asus will be releasing a $199 laptop, which should have better specifications, and i expect a sub-$100 laptop to be commercially available in the next year or so as well. what a great time to live in right?
I really like this small but powerful machine. It is compact, but I think it is very fast and easy to handle. My son just bought one and I had never heard of a mini laptop, bu he has one and now I want one of my own.
