The Samsung Digimax S760 is a high resolution digital camera equipped with a true-color filtered 7.2 mega pixels CCD. Producing detailed photos and allowing printing up to poster size, the Samsung S760 has a 3x optical zoom to give closer proximity to subjects. With the Face Detection AF & AE function, the Samsung S760 enables the user to take better portraits more easily. This function detects faces and automatically focuses on them; the brightness of the faces is adjusted optimally for beautiful portraits. Based around the face detection technology, the Self Portrait function provides confirmation notice through sound once the face is detected within the frame. Normally, it is difficult to position the face in the center of the image while taking a self shot. Now, it is easy to take a self shot using Self Portrait.

The 2.4-inch Intelligent LCD gives ideal contrast and color reproduction for easy image framing and reviewing. Digital Image Stabilization prevents the degradation of image clarity and color which is sometimes found in flash photography. With DIS, the effects of image blur are reduced in low light conditions.
