The Sanyo HD1010 Xacti digital media camera combines both the functionality of a digital camera and a digital camcorder, all into one slim, lightweight and ergonomically designed body. This powerful little device incorporates the latest high-definition CMOS sensor and has with it the ability to capture full 1920x1080 (1080i) high definition video at 60 frames per second. The HD1010 records to the latest in MPEG-4 standard MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 and delivers exceptional video clarity and detail while maintaining the smallest file size possible. Perhaps the most impressive feature of this camera is its commanding 10x all-glass HD lens that offers a fast f/1.8 aperture and allowing four times more light through to assist in lower light venues. Its high zooming capability is also well suited for a number of applications.
Never missing a photo opportunity, the Xacti HD1010 gives you the ability to take clear 4 megapixels still photos on the go. A large 2.7-inch widescreen display flips out and rotates up to 285 degrees on an axis to allow great shots to be taken from awkward angles. Face Detection and Face Chaser technology monitors subject’s faces and adjusts brightness and focus to incredibly clear photos. This technology can be used to recognise up to 12 faces in both video and still photos. Image Stabilisation is enabled for both image stills and movies and files can be recorded to the ever convenient SD/SDHC memory cards.
