Ladies I purchased this dress in a size US2 and all in black (including the beads). It's an absolutely stunning dress. The fit is perfect and the trail looks amazing. You may want to be careful about the length of the dress, as i am quite short and the dress came a bit too long. I have a very good friend who's a tailor and so she was able to take up the dress no problems. The quality of stitching and material is very very good!

Received my dress last week and it is very well made! Little big for me so thats why I held it up. The beads are a darker color than the dress! I have attached the photos and hope they help yall!

I am very pleased with this gorgeous dress. I supplied my measurements and it fits me perfectly. The dress is very well constructed. I will be wearing it as the mother of bride dress at my daughter's upcoming wedding. I have since ordered a bolero jacket from Light In the Box to wear with the dress at the church. Look forward to receiving it shortly.

Initially I was very reluctant to purchase from this website, because I was not familiar with the service. I then grew concerned because it was taking long, and I could not call customer service because of no telephone contact information on the website.. the order took over four weeks to arrive. I had not realized that the Trumpet mermaid dress was made per order, hence the delay.

When I received the dress, it exceeded all of my expectations in terms of beauty and quality. This dress is beautiful, the color is exact to the picture shown on the website, the beading details are simple yet very elegant and well designed.. The craftmanship is exquisite. There is a lovely lining and the train is the perfect length. The front bodice has a built in bra with a discreet but actual bra strap to keep the dress up. I would highly recommend purchasing a dress for any special occasion from this site, however be aware of the time it takes to make the dress when ordering and be careful with sizing. I ordered an American size 10 but it was about 8 inches too small by the top of the back area zipper.

I am in the process of returning the dress to my great disappointment because I love it. If I had more time to wait for a new one, I would have gladly waited for a larger size, because it is sooo beautiful.

Overall I give this service an "excellent" rating because of the exceptional quality..

I purchased this gown for a very high end black tie wedding in Sydney. I was so nervous waiting for the dress as I had heard nightmare stories about buying on line. My dress arrived last week...it is perfect. It fits exactly as it said it would.

Every bead, every stitch is just perfect. I am so happy and would definitely recommend LightInTheBox to anyone looking to buy a special gown.

I love this dress, it is a perfect fit. The tail is the right length. I read other reviews and decided to order one size up. I ordered it for my 40th formal birthday party. I will order from this site again.

I ORDERED THIS GOWN IN THE NAVY AND IM AWAITING THE DELIVERY....I DONT NEED IT UNTIL OCT 2012 FOR MY DAUGHTERS WEDDING. I LOVED IT AND DIDNT WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE OF LOSING IT... CAN ANYONE WHO HAS BOUGHT IT ALREADY TELL ME IF ITS APROPRIATE FOR THE MOTHER OF THE BRIDE PLSE.. I WILL POST A PIC WHEN I RECIEVE IT...BTW CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP KNOTCH.. This dress is fabulous value for money and I'm so glad I decided to go for it! It looks exactly as the photos on the website show, I ordered the dark navy as shown and it looks so luxurious.
A couple of things I would say about ordering from LITB that may be helpful to others:
- PLEASE use the live chat option to ask questions, they are very helpful and you get your answers instantly before deciding to make your purchase. I needed my dress in a hurry and the customer advisor assured me my shipping deadline could be met and stayed with me on the live chat while I went through the order process so make sure it was completed correctly. They were very helpful.
- It does say in the small print that there may be import taxes to pay on receipt, as a guide I had to pay £33 in the UK for this dress. You can google sites to calculate what you will need to pay though so that you don't get caught out by it.
- The measurements of the dress are quite generous. I ordered to fit my hips and waist, but both are at least an inch bigger than the size guide states. Though it's better to go big and have it taken in than to find it's too tight!
- I requested expedited delivery and I got my dress delivered 13 calendar days after placing my order...fast!
Overall, I found the whole customer service first class, the order process easy and the quality of the dress is very high. I would definitely recommend LITB!!
