* Relax arms at sides
* Measure the highest part of the chest
* Pull the tape right underneath the arms

Bust

* This is not your bra size!
* Wear an unpadded bra (your dress will have a built-in bra)
* Relax arms at sides
* Pull tape across the fullest part of the bust

Under Bust

* Measure immediately under breasts

Around Belly

* Find the fullest part of the belly
* Pull tape around the belly
* Keep tape slight loose for comfort

Hips

* Find the widest part of the hips
* Usually about 7 in. below natural waist
* Make sure tape is parallel to the floor
* Tape should brush across both hipbones

Hollow to Floor

* Stand straight with feet together
* Measure in bare feet
* Begin at the hollow space between the collarbones and pull tape straight down to the floor

I will admit I was skeptical about ordering a wedding dress online because you just never know what your going to get, but the dress proved to be more beautiful than anticipated. I love my dress and can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!! The process was easy and I loved the fact that I could put in custom measurements considering I am 6 months pregnant the dress fits perfectly now and I still have growing room for my ever-changing bump. My wedding dress was delivered 2 days sooner than expected and in good quality. The size needs to be adjusted a little bit, but overall I am satisfied with buying via lightinthebox.com.

Bonjour - je viens de placer la commande #1302130704083142 et je voudrais changer le tour de ventre et je ne comprends pas comment je peux faire.

Dans la commande j'ai indiqué 105 cm (ma situation actuelle, 9 mois de grossesse) mais je voudrais le changer pour 90 cm (après l'accouchement) si possible.

Comme la commande vient d'être passée, j'espère que ceci ne pose pas de souci. Merci de me le confirmer au plus vite.

  • Can dress be adjusted easily if I am bigger or smaller at that point in time (i.e. extra fabric)?

    I am 5 1/2 months pregnant right now and am getting married mid september, I'm just not sure if i need to account for extra grow room or if it would easily be let out or taken if needed. Everything is growing so quickly right now just wanted to make sure there was a little wiggle room with fabric so it can be adjusted to the right fit if necessary.

  • Yes. If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few inches in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. Dresses generally have a margin of 1 inch on either side of a seam. Flower detailing, beading or belts/ribbons may limit ability to let a dress out.
