I absolutly love this dress. I ordered with a small doubt in my mind after previous bad experiences ordering online, but Light in the Box made the process super easy and I was always kept up to date. I love this dress and would like to purchase it. I have a question regarding the length of this dress that I am hoping someone can help me with. I am a petite woman just 5'2" tall. I most likely will need to custom order to my measurements. If I measure from the hollow to knee, is that correct? The hollow measurement under custom order says "hollow to floor" so I am a bit confused. What if I wanted to order a longer length, say mid calf...just measure to that point? Thanks.

Received my dress in black satin,not taffeta (but the satin actually works better than a taffeta would have) so I'm not disappointed in the least.

The dress is beautifully made and fully lined through the bodice and around the hips and bottom - which means no wobbly bits - satin - even if you're very thin, is not that forgiving.

The detailing is the same as the bronze beading shown in the photo and is very smart. Works equally as well on the black. The roushing through the halter is well done and flattering.

I've got a ball to go to next month and intend making an underskirt to match so that the dress can also be used as a full-length gown. (Will post some photos.)

Great dress - great price - very pleased.

I was very impressed with LITB from the start - ease of ordering,tracking the order and on time delivery. The quality of the workmanship of this dress is excellent. The styling is exact to the photo too. My only disappointment was, despite customised measurements, the dress was too big in the bust and hips. Nothing that an alteration can't fix and still represents excellent value. I am a happy customer.
