      Just a follow up...uploading a picture from the wedding. Mom looked fantastic in the dress, and everyone wanted to know where she had it made! I was happy to give out Light in the Box as the source. Funny, my grandmother used to have all her designer clothes made by her "Hong Kong Tailor" when she travelled there; this is the next best thing!

      I will post pictures after shoes dyed to match! I ordered this dress for my mother for my wedding in a custom size, as she is quite petite, and impossible to find a dress in her size at a store. I think the custom size is the way to go on here as you don't have the luxury of trying on different sizes, and provided you measure correctly (measure several times with your foundation garments on!) you may not need later alterations. How often can you get a dress made to fit without paying crazy prices?
      I think the key is also knowing what style of dress looks good on you before you order; if you always looked rotten in sleeveless, its not going to change on here.
      In any case, we ordered the same color as the picture, the chocolate brown. Fantastic fit! Mom has had multiple shoulder surgeries (she's 68) and other dresses seem to always fall off the shoulders; I chose this style because it framed the neck well and stayed put. The elastic satin will no doubt come in handy for a heavy night of dancing and moving around without looking wrinkled.
      The craftmanship is spot on, only needed some minor alterations at the neckline, again, because of mom's previous surgeries. We took the dress out of the box, put it on and it zipped up perfectly! I love that LITB files this dress under mother of the bride! The lining in the dress smooths out imperfections that older dress wearers (or even younger ones) might have, and the ruching camoflages quite nicely while looking sylish. My mother has every intention of showing me up at my own wedding, and she has a legitimate shot with this dress!
      One note: the collar color is just slightly darker than the dress fabric color; when I look at the picture again I see that this is exactly how the dress is presented. It does not take anything away from the dress.

      J'ai trouvé sur ce site des robes merveilleuses ; je suis invitée en octobre pour un mariage en Suisse et j'ai fait le choix .du modèle couleur chocolat. Je suis brune et pense porter des bijoux rouges ou orange. Elle me va parfaitement alors que je n'avais pas demandé de mesures spéciales. Cet assemblage de plis fait tout son charme et donne du relief à cette robe. J'en avais repéré d'autres, mais une suffit !
      Je n'ai pas encore de photos.
