This headset (YO-440) was compared to three other similar units. This unit outperformed the other three, both in headphones and microphone. The clarity of speech was excellent. Music was clear and the response didn't appear to have peaks. The vents on the side were a concern at first but very little headphone leakage came from them. The microphone comes with a windscreen which is essential when you have this type of microphone (electret). The microphone and windscreen produced clear speech without popping. The speech output had no obvious peaks.
