I like this dress when I first saw it. But I wasn't sure about the color. The description says it's ivory but it looks more like white to me. So I used the live chat function and they assured me that the dress in the picture is white. I read all the reviews for the dress and they are extremely helpful for me, especially those with pictures. I was anxious for about a month or so because once you put down the order there's no update until they ship the item. And I was a little skeptical about the custom sizing. But you won't regret it when you receive the dress!!! It is exactly what I want and I think it's perfect for a outdoor wedding. Very good quality and lots of details! Like others, I will recommend you to use the custom sizing!

I stumbled upon this website while looking for a dress and was blown away by the choices and prices! Of course I was nervous ordering for a website for such an important dress, but Angela's pictures helped me feel better.
It took longer than I expected to arrive, but I did do a custom size. I did not like the center sparkly things, so I had those removed and also changed the bust line a little. Afterwards, the dress was perfect! Ladies, it's a squeezer so if you are planning to stay in it while dancing, give yourselves a bit of extra room (I changed because it was not possible for me).
I used to be a wedding planner for platinum weddings, so my expectations were high. After a few tweaks, the dress was exactly what I wanted and I received many comments on how sophisticated it looked --by other wedding planners! I love this website and plan to use it again for party dresses!

My dress arrived a few days ago and I'm AMAZED at it's beauty. For months I kept going back and looking at this dress. I was a little hesitant to buy online being my wedding dress but my expectations have been FAR exceeded and I can't wait for my wedding in Jamaica in a few months. To anyone thinking about buying this dress...DO IT!!

does anyone have a pic in champagne color? torn between that and ivory- we are going for a vintage look and think the champagne would be better but worried it's too ''beige''...

planning on ordering asap..think it is perfect for an outdoor wedding. However I have one concern--the length...I am 5'9'' and will be wearing 4'' heels as my fiance is very tall....
most other sites say to measure in your heels, not barefoot like yours.... you only add 2'' for heels...

Well my dress came a couple of days ago...WOW! It is perfect! I have to be honest I was a little concerned at what the quality of such a low priced dress would be but let me tell you there was no need to worry. I work within the wedding industry and see many bridal dresses and the quality of this dress is just as good as any you will see in a bridal boutique. I tried on a dress in a boutique that was very similar to this dress although not as detailed or comfortable to wear, and they were asking $2900 for it. I am so happy that I have been able to buy a beautiful dress, that fits me so well for such a reasonable price. If you are considering buying this dress or any other from LITB here's what I suggest...firstly try on some gowns to get an idea of what style suits you, get your dress custom made and when you do the "hollow" measurement make sure you are wearing shoes with the same heel height that you plan to wear with the dress as LITB make the dress to fit you exactly, including length. So to any potential LITB customer, don't worry you will not be dissapointed you'll be over the moon especially as with all the money you'll save on your dress you can spend more on other things for your wedding! and to Light in the box...thank you, thank you, thank you

wanted to show y'all what the dress looked like with the 1st layer of tulle removed! I received so many compliments from this dress! Even the male guests loved it! Haha

I was eyeing this dress for a long time, and I finally threw caution into the wind and ordered it. I'm glad I did. Its very pretty. One thing that kind of disappointed me was the quality of the lace work. It is coming apart in several places.
I ordered the custom sizing and it fit perfectly except for the hallow. It has to be shortened a tiny bit, but since I have to have the lace work touched up, its not that big of a deal. I am also having the 1st layer of tulle removed. It looks ok on the model, but Ive got hips! My hips seem to push the layer out and it looks funny to me. Plus, without that layer it looks more like a mermaid style dress, which is what I was going for.
I LOVE the lace up back, its my favorite part of the entire dress. I also love how it isnt the traditional dress that you find in a chain bridal boutique, and yet its cheaper then the plain jane dresses they sell there! The ladies at the alteration store were all in love with it too, I feel like this is a timeless dress. Something my kids can wear in 25 years and it wont look outdated.
Even with the $140 in alterations I am having done to this dress, it is still a steal! It looks like a $3000 dress at least! I can not wait to wear it at my outdoor September wedding.

High quality dress with gorgeous detail and a vintage feel. Got this custom sized and it fit like a glove! Got so many compliments! Only a few minor adjustments done with the help of a tailor: length was shortened and neckline was changed to sweetheart.

Can a bolaro jacket be made with the same material with 3/4 sleeves? Please let me know! Will be ordering in the middle of June 2011.
