Does this dress come with the covered buttons? Also do I require a petticoat for this dress? Finally does in contain a bone to keep all the bits nipped in? I'm quite large on top and have found going braless helps but I need to ensure that I will be cupped firmly

I just recieved my dress the other day, and it is absolutely GOREGOUS!!! There are yards and yards of material, the dress itself is quite heavy, and incredibly well made. It is easily worth 5 times what I paid!!! The only negative thing I have to say out of the whole experience has nothing to do with the dress itself, it's just there was a massive "duties tax" on the package when it arrived, $102 dollars. Which in the fine print Lightinthebox does say there could be duties that need to be paid, I just wasn't expecting that much. But, still, if you expect ahead of time that extra charge, the whole thing is insanely cheap for the amazing dress you're getting! Have already and will continue to pass this website on to my friends. Thank you!!!

I went to a dress shop here and tried similar dress..Love the shape but i think this one looks more feminine & Gorgeous!! I found out i am size 4.

Question is how long will it take to make this dress & ship in Sydney Australia..I need this dress on Dec.
Do you think if i order now can I get it before 10th Dec??

Also, Is this dress will be too hot to wear for Summer wedding?

All in all, I was very very happy with this dress. Of the 6 dresses I selected, It was the dress voted on by friends and family members whom I surveyed, so I picked it ultimately.
I got this dress for the wedding ceremony. I had to get another dress for the reception as it was really cumbersome to dance around in this dress. If I had to do it over again, I would have done the following differently:
1) I would have taken it to a seamstress and converted the train to a removeable or "downsizable" one to make it manageable for the reception.
2) I got the dress custom-sized. I allowed two extra inches around the waist for breathing room and so that I could enjoy the hors d'oeurves, dinner, cake and deserts. I wish I had not. I should have made the waist smaller so that more of an hour glass look would have been achieved. My undergarments kept my stomach in so I didn't have to worry about the breathing room issue.
Nonetheless, I still loved the dress. I found the top a bi t boring so I embellished it with 3 dimensional organza/chiffon flowers which I made myself and attached to the dress. I really liked the effect and it mimicked the top of a dress I saw on Vogue. I liked that "Vogue" dress but had already ordered this, so what I did was a compromise and it worked out perfectly. Here are a few pics. I recommend this dress to anyone with the few caveats noted here.
Also, Light in a Box was pretty easy to deal with. I like that shipping was discounted to almost being free.
Finally, be careful Future Brides. Allow plenty of time (at least two months before the wedding. (It took Light in a Box about 3 weeks to make the dress, then another week for shipping.) If something goes wrong, this gives you a few weeks to fix it.

First I wanna Thank Light in the Box and their Team for Everything, I trusted them with a "wedding dress" and they made it happen plus more.. This was the Best THING, I have done, it was cheap and a Blessing.. I will be using them for more things.. I had no problems and pure honesty... And everything in the picture is what you get... Trust me when I say these dresses are AMAZING in person... thank u again....

Is the strap on this gown removeable, also can you make the gown without the flower on the dress?

My dress arrived today. It was packaged very nicely. It is a lovely dress, however the description and pictures show buttons down the back over the zip which i really liked. Mine did not arrive with buttons on it.
I chose the dress in ivory. If I was purchasing it again I would much prefer to get white instead. I might make another purchase!
For the price, it is definitely hard to beat. You won't be able to buy a dress of this quality in a bridal shop for this price but I am disappointed about the buttons.
