A:Even standard size dresses are made to order for each customer. The custom nature of our dresses means our Cancellation and Return Policy is stricter than for other items, so it's important to order carefully.

I received this dress on Oct 11,2011 at 1030am, eastern standard time, delivered by DHL. My fiancee' was at work, so it was just the dog and I in the house. I briskfully opened the medium size box, with excitement, and pulled out the long satin, shiny dress. It looked just like the picture on this website! I tried it on, looked in the mirror, and started balling my eyes out! It fit perfectly! I am 5'10", and ordered a size 14 because my measurements fits accordingly, and figured that would be big enough to fit over my buttocks. I did not special order it with the altering because I figured I'd get it altered locally. Also, I had tried on similar dresses at 4-5 various bridal boutiques and had gone to 4 bridal shows, only to hear different boutiques inform me of their shipments of dresses that they receive from CHINA!, So I decided to do some research. I found lightinthebox and I'm happy I did!! I look sooooo HOT in this dress and I don't need any alterations! The only thing that I might add to the dress are bussels for the train...other than that, I'm so happy! I finally found the perfect dress for my perfect day...and he's worth every bit of it! I will post pictures of me wearing the dress soon. :)

Okay, without further ado, here is a picture of me in the dress! Absolutely stunning. I just ordered a size 14 because I'm tall and I have a butt. LOL But it fits perfectly! However, I did take it to an alterations lady and instead of wearing a petty coat underneath, she is adding extra tulle to make the bottom of the dress flare a little more. Also, there is no slip/in-seam on the dress in order to have it bussled, so I had to pay for an in-seam to attach the bussles to it. Only cost me $185 US dollars for the alterations. Otherwise, the dress fits perfectly! Thanks Lightinthebox! You've made me the happiest woman in the world! I will DEFINITELY be purchasing our bridesmaid dresses from this site in a large quantity. You're awesome!

This shows how much this dress is off the floor on the front ruffle panel. If you have killer shoes and you'd like to walk during the evening, this dress is perfect. Very pretty and I feel so good in it - COMFORTABLE! I might order three more just to be sure and keep them ALL! Sorry for so many posts - only one photo would load at a time
