I ordered the A-line strapless floor-length tulle evening dress in candy pink for my daughter to wear to her prom. She is plus size so finding nice dresses in stores is close to impossible. I decided to pay extra for the exact measurement service which I thought was a reasonable charge. I also took advantage of the expedited shipping special they were running. I loved that you could choose the dress style and then the color. The dress arrived on schedule and in less than 3 weeks even though it was apparently arriving from China to the US! The dress is beautiful! Well made with lovely details! It fit almost to a tee with the exception of the bust area--probably my fault for the way I measured, so I had to take it to a seamstress here to alter it further but I still think it was worth it because I might have had to have it altered a lot more (and risk ruining the detailing) had I not paid for the custom fit. Since it is a strapless dress, I especially appreciate that there is a built in bra type band in the back that hooks like a brassiere to give support and lift. I would not hesitate to order from this company again--just allow yourself plenty of time before the event to have it made and shipped to the US! Thanks so much, Light in the Box, for making a special dress for my daughter's special evening!

I have just received this dress for my daughters prom, after feeling very apprehensive about ordering it over the internet I had nothing to worry about at all. The dress is beautiful, the detail and fabric is outstanding. It's also very well made. I sent in my daughters measurements so it would be specially made, its perfect. The service from start to finish was exceptional. When I emailed them just to make sure everything was ok, they replied the very next day. My daughter is thrilled with the dress and can't wait for her prom. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a prom dress. Excellent. Thank you.

Q: Hi, I was wondering if the bust was about 2 centimetres larger would the dress be really loose? My bust measurement is 81 cm and the smallest size is size 2 where the bust length is 83cm BySandra Apr 15, 2013

Q: The fabric So i can see the dress has two diffrent fabrics, the underlayer looks like satin and the upperlayer is tulle like it say in the discription. But what i'm wondering about is if the under layer of the dress will be the same color as the dress in the picture and the upper layer will be what color the person chose? Or is it that if i bought the dress in jade the underlayer of the dress will be in jade just in the underlayer fabric (satin, if that is the underlayer fabric) ? ByNara Jan 06, 2013
