I ordered this dress for my daughter to wear at my wedding. She is my maid of honor, and we loved how different this dress was from the plain dresses in the bridal shops. When we were at the bridal shops they told us that wedding attire usually runs small and to always order it a size larger than we usually wear, that way alterations can be done.
I ordered this dress in Royal and ordered it a size larger than she normally wears.(We noticed the measurements on the size chart and ordered accordingly.) The chart placed her a size larger than she usually wears. It came within the time it quoted us and the dress was a perfect fit. No alterations were needed. We are very pleased with our purchase and quality of her dress. We would definitely recommend light in the box to our friends.

Bought this dress for my bridesmaid after months of searching in bridal shops and high street shops. We ordered a made to measure dress and I think it only cost around £10 extra to have it made to measure. Dress is absolutely lovely. Fits perfectly, colour was perfect and the quality of stitching was brilliant. I also thought the turn around time was very impressive. From order to delivery was 20 days although it stated around 30 business days. I made a couple of queries on the site regarding delivery as I wanted it delivering direct to my bridesmaid and once I raised a ticket someone always came back to my query within 24 hours. Excellent Service. Highly recommend Light in The Box!!!!

Ordered 2 of these dresses in ready to wear sizes in watermelon, was very nervous as other reviewers have said, due to the low price, but was very please when they arrived as they are very good quality, the fabric is excellent and the finish is far better than expected. The dresses are lined and include an adjustable bra stap. The only issue I had was with the packaging, the dresses were folded tightly in a plastic bag then in a cardboard box so were very creased and needed hanging and pressing, but some of the creases still remain in the chiffon, hoping they will drop out with further treatment or may need to take them to a professional for pressing. Overall great dresses and a fantastic price, saved a fortune on my bridesmaid dresses.

The dress turned out perfect. My daughter is thrilled with how it looks on her. The color was just the right color red. She is going to feel beautiful in this dress. She will be wearing the dress this Saturday for a "Big Chill" dance. We were glad to get the dress on time even though we had some problems at first with our measurements. You delivered a smile to my daughters face, that means the whole world to me. Thank you for your promptness in getting the dress to her on time. You will never know how much this means to me and her. Especially after hearing one of the news stories in our area on how they were having problems with ordering online prom or bridesmaid dress, they were not being made well

I have bought it for a girls night out. (I haven't worn it yet, although I have tried it on... )

I chose the regency blue as the colour & although it is more a deep purpley blue rather than a more traditional blue it looks amazing. The quality of the dress, design & material is just that of one your would expect from an expensive dress shop. However the price is far more affordable. The current sale price of $99 allows the buyer to spend the savings on accessories, jewels, shoes or to keep for their party night out!

The petal feature at the neck of the dress stands out well in this colour. The skirt flourishes well just below the knee & the zip at the back is concealed by the beautiful gathered fabric. The dress is very comfortable, it is fully lined- so there is no scratchy invisible material tickling you. The dress sits well, as shown on the model.


I bought the size from the rack-this time I bought the correct size-in the past I have bought the next size up just in case it didn't fit when it arrived, but they have always been a tad on the bigger size.

So this time I bought the correct size and it fits like a glove.

It's a great style of dress, I think that you could easily dress it up for a night on the town with girls or wear it with a cute pair of flats & a cardigan for picnic in the park.

I LOVE it & cant wait to wear it out!
