I ordered a custom size - I usually wear a 1X. The size was exactly what I ordered, given measurements for bust, hips and waist. Because it didn't ask for a measurement under the bust, combined with the empire waist, a slight alteration to take the dress in there will be required.
The quality of the material, beading and sewing is all excellent. I will order more dresses from LightIn the Box and have already helped my sister-in-law order a dress for the same event.
I love the "grape" color!"

Received my dress & it's lovely, The quality of workmanship is excellent, the colour is a vibrant deep puprle with the sequin detail giving a beautiful contrast in colour. I received my dress today for my son's wedding in December. I ordered a size 14 in Fuschia. The colour is beautiful and the dress is very well made. It is very long (I'm 5'7"), but I was expecting that and am prepared to have it shortened. The dress was very well packaged and arrived quickly. This is an absolutely beautiful dress. It is true to size (I am a plus size woman) and very long so will need to be hemmed. I am 5'4 and wearing 5 inch spike heels and still needed more then a foot of fabric removed. I ordered it in grape and the color is a very nice jeweled tone for a fall wedding. I would order again in other colors if I need another gown for a special occasion. I received the dress about 6 weeks after I ordered it.

Hi, I am considering this dress for my sons wedding. My worry is I have "middle age spread" particularly a "pot" tummy, and the models wearing these dresses all look slim! The dress arrived so quickly and is beautiful, exactly the same as the picture. I have had it custom made to my measurements and it fits perfectly. The main undergarment is robust and holds the organza outer layer beautifully it does not require a hooped petticoat. The bodice fits perfectly and no bra is required fro additional support. The detailing is excellent and matches the coulou of the material perfectly. I can hardly wait for the big day when I get to wear it.
