The dress is beautiful! The sewing is excellent. The color is exact to the picture of the color selections. Constructed very well. Packaged wonderfully. Will do business with Light in the Box again.

This dress is beautiful, I selected the color, measured myself up and voila all done.

Make sure you get some help with your measurements, so that the dress fits perfectly.

About ten days later I was trying on the dress! Extremely impressed with the workmanship, very well made and now I have the perfect dress that no one else at the event will have.

Very well made dress-delivery was quick and I was kept up to date on when it was dispatched.

I bought this dress for my wedding. I am 5 ft tall and I normally buy size 4 or 6 (UK sizes) so I ordered a made to measure version - and waited for its arrival with baited breath as I wasn't confident that it would fit, look like it does on the website or arrive on time!! To my relief, it arrived on the day that it should have been shipped - so it only took 9 working days from ordering to reach me. I am delighted with the quality of the dress - it looks exactly like it does on the photo (same length on hemline and arms). It is beautiful, excellently constructed and the attention to detail is fabulous. The only thing I would like to add is that the neckline is low (just like on the photo) and I am not used to showing my cleavage - so I am having a small insert added to match the ruffle affect just under the bust. The seamstress is also adding some silver beading on those areas to - in order to blend it all in. She did mention that this would only take a few days and she also commented on the beautiful quality of the dress. I will certainly be buying more dresses from LITB going forward.
If you are in doubt whether to buy this dress - I'd say go for it, its definitely in another league to any high street dress :)

i bought this dress for my wife,she luv it i got the dress in the fuchsia.

This dress is very well made. The built in bra is a molded cup bra form that definately won't require any other bra, like some dresses with built ins. I am very petite at 4'8" tall so the mini is tea length on me but that's what I expected. I got a standard size 4 because I knew the bodice would need more tailoring than Light in the box does. The bodice will need shortened by about an inch and the sleeves will need to be taken up to be 3/4 length as they go to my wrist, however I expected those adjustments would need to be made. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase as the color (grape) is perfect, and the material has a very nice feel and good movement. Even without the final tailoring it looks nice on. Also, many other reviewers said they had to pay duty which I did not. My package was delivered within 2 weeks by DHL paid in full.

I shop online because I live in a fairly remote part of eastern Canada, with limited ability for actual shopping. I was stunned by how fast my dress arrived, but even more surprising (and fantastic!) was how well it fits... just like it was made for my body!

I'm going to my brother's wedding in Brazil Jan 2012 and thought this was the perfect dress. Skeptical of online product quality, I was very happy when I received my beautifuly packaged and timely order. The quality also surprised me! Just beautiful and exactly what i hoped for!!! I will definetely use Lightinthebox again. :)
