I bought this dress for my daughter's junior prom. We were nervous about ordering and only gave a dress size, no measurements. When the dress arrived, it was absolutely PERFECT!!!! The quality was really fantastic and the dress fit her like she had been to several fittings. She was definitely the star of the evening and was thrilled with the dress.
I have recommened Light in the Box to everyone who sees her picture and countless others - I think this is a fantastic place to purchase a special occassion dress and plan to do the same for this years' prom!!!

I ordered this dress in ivory for my 4 bridesmaids earlier this year. I initially ordered one (custom measurements to suit my Maid of Honour), just to make sure it was suitable and fitted. Whilst I was so impressed with the quality of the dress (the material was fabulous and it was well made), the dress was way too big (but I think we may have made an error when taking measurements in cm's and converting to inches). So I bit the bullett and ordered another 3, with a plan to get the big one altered to fit. The other 3 were a perfect fit, however, one was a little too short - so I eventually ordered another 2 and in the end wound up with 4 perfect dresses (I did have to get the hems brought up on all dresses as the overlay material is slightly long).
So, a little bit of stuffing around to get the sizes perfect (I ended up with 6 dresses when I only really needed 4)... but I still spent far less money for the quality of the end product than if I had gone out and bought these dresses from a boutique store.
The dresses looked absolutely stunning as you can see from the photos and so many people have commented and asked where I got them from.
I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone...but please make sure you measure yourself carefully, so you don't have to get any adjustments made or re-order!!!!

I ordered this dress for my senior high school formal.
I was very concerned that it would not look like the picture, or would be of inferior quality and perhaps not even arrive!
I was absolutely thrilled when just two weeks later, my dress arrived, fitted perfectly and was made beautifully with great attention to detail.
I enjoyed a wonderful night in a dress that everyone commented on, and the best part was that the dress looked like a 'million dollars' but only cost me $150-00.
I can't wait to save up more money to shop again.

i ordered my dress for my prom last year and it came within the time it said it would and exactly how i pictured it would be. i took my own measurements and it fit perfectly! (in my pictures i added the flower)

Received my dress today in the color jade, very happy with the custom fit. The top has good built-in bra support even for me (36D). The top is very heavy with the lining and boning, and hoping it won't be too hot for the wedding in Mexico that I am wearing it to. I plan to wear the dress with flats on a beach, so will probably need to get it hemmed. Basically if you give your normal measurements and height without heels, it arrives to be perfect with a 2-3" heel. Love the jade color (was torn between it and Pool, very happy with my choice). Recommended. Ordered on March 24th with expedited shipping and received on April 17th. 2nd picture shows the color better, it's basically a medium blue-green.

I want to commend the customer service process for the period while I was awaiting my order. I knew when I ordered my custom dress for a cruise that timing was tight for delivery. Once order was underway the shipping date was too tight to meet my schedule. I contacted customer service and they got with the tailor and the dress was shipped in plenty of time. While I haven't received the dress yet, I certainly wanted to take the opportunity to say what a good job customer service did in trying to help meet my deadline. This is certainly the kind of company I would do business with again.

I bought this dress and used it as my wedding dress last month I absolutely loved it! It required a bit of alteration in the shoulders but other than that it was the perfect size and length. It shipped fast and I had no problems. I could not believe the quality for the price... outstanding! I received so many compliments on this dress on my big day and I could not have been happier.

Hi! I was thinking bout getting this dress in a dark green for my prom, but im nervous about it not looking right. Does anybody have any pics of it in dark green? Im kind of a small person, size 0 or 2, 32A, 5 ft 5, would it look nice on me?

I had my dress custom made for my rather odd measurements. I am amazed at the beautiful workmanship in this dress. It is much prettier than I anticipated I would get from buying on the internet.

I ordered this dress for a beach wedding in Hawaii and I am as happy as can be with it! I custom ordered it to my measurements and it fit almost perfectly but it felt a little loose around my chest, probably just my nervousness at wearing such a low cut dress, so I had a friend who is a seamstress tighten it up a bit for me. The dress is gorgeous, it weighs more than I thought it would which means to me that it is a quality made dress with quality fabric. I don't know how Light in the Box manages to make such gorgeous dresses for such low prices but thank goodness they do! I highly recommend taking a chance on a dress with Light in the Box, especially this dress.
