The dress could not zip all the way up. Even though I brought it 1 size bigger. Dresses does not fit curvy women. Did not want to pay 40 dollars for custom dress but if ordering from the US order 2 sizes bigger or customize the dress.

words cannot explain how truly exquisite this gown is. my daughter got this gown for her graduation, its not your typical frilly princess gown most girls wear for graduation it is pure elegance and I can hardly put enough words in to explain the detail, and workmanship that went into this gown. I was also very impressed by how exact the sizing chart was because I was a little skeptical but it was dead on. Also, what really impressed me was the fact that I received this dress in just over 2 weeks, well up in Canada sometimes when we order a dress from a retail store it can take up to 12 weeks to come in. If anyone is looking for a gown that is pure elegance and well made and when put on is breathtaking I highly recommend this gown.

WOW! I haven't tried it on, but it is STUNNING. VERY well made. Singing a soloist role in the Verdi REQUIEM....I will feel like a million. Will not be my last article of clothing from Light in the Box.

On a side note, After trying the dress on, I need to have a minor alteration around the shoulders won't zip all they way up (last three and a half inches). And I am also high waisted. SO might have been helpful if I included shoulder measurements with a note of my high waist. Other than that. Absolutely stunningly elegant!
Quality fabrics, exquisite workmanship and well worth the money.
I ordered it in Burgundy and the sequined skirt is paler over the burgundy satin but it works for me.
Very heavy garment with all the layers of fabric - sequins/satin/satin lining but feels wonderful on.
FYI - There is a wrist loop in the under skirt which wasn't mentioned in the description but definitely a necessity.
I will need to alter the front length as it is way too long by about 3inches and the sleeves are a little firm.
Overall impeccable and will be using this company again, thank you!

I just ordered this dress. I had trouble deciding which color to order so I used the Live Chat feature. Necole was there to help me every step through the process and helped me to decide which color I wanted. She was absolutely fantastic and I can't wait for my dress to arrive. I was between the burgundy and the regency (purple) and finally decided on the burgundy. Stay tuned - my dress should be arriving soon!!!
