It looks like shown on the LITB web page; it's made of chromed plastic, and it's reasonably robust. It was in a little retail package, wrapped in foam and shipped in a small plastic bag; it arrived in perfect condition.
It comes with a variety of adaptors, and it screwed to my tap easily, with no leaks, once I figured out how to fit the two rubber seals. Took a little trial and error.
Anyway, just as advertised, it glows three different colours, no batteries required, and the lights are quite bright. The downside is that in order to generate the electricity required, the water pressure needs to be quite high; while that's OK for cold, my hot supply isn't as strong. But it's cool, and it annoys my wife, so more points there.
One little niggly-naggly thing; I guess there might be a wiring mistake inside, because it glows green for less than 31 degrees, and blue for between 32 and 43, but who cares?
So... cool product, good price, thanks LITB!
