Is this dress fitted through the stomach and hips, or loose?
I'm trying to work out if this dress will suit me. From the picture, it doesn't look form-fitting, but I understand that Mermaid style usually refers to a dress that is tight through the mid-section down to the hips? Is this dress fitted from the bust to hips or is it a looser material? Thanks

This dress is fitted from bust to hips. While you can compare your own hip, waist, bust and hollow to floor length measurements to those in our size chart [link to http://www.lightinthebox.com/html/All-You-Need-To-Know.html?tab=2] to determine which size will fit you best.

My best friend is getting married on September 14. Do you think i can have this dress on time? I know tailoring takes 7 to 9 days, but maybe i can save some time with expedited shipping time... Thank you!

I'll be wearing 5 inch heels. So would it be better to add 5 inches to my height measurments?
I'm concerned that if I do add 5 inches to my height measurements that it may alter my shoulder to waist ratio measurment. I have a shorter than average shoulder to waist measurment causing most of the dresses I've brought in the past to have a gaping hole of extra fabric at the shoulder blades. My friends even joked about it saying I should start carrying my handbag in the gaping hole on the back of the dress. With this in mind, please advise as to whether I should add 5 inches to my hieght measurement to compensate without causing a dire affect to my overall fit.

If you are ordering this dress in custom size, please be noted that we will add 2 inches to height and hollow to floor size for heels. Since you are wearing 5 inch heels, suggest you add 3 inch heels. We will make the top part according to your bust and waist measurement. It will fit you perfectly.

Do you recommend this dress for a large bust?
I love the way this dress looks (especially on such a pretty model) But I am 38 DDD bra size. Bust 44.7" I am worried half my breasts will stick out and look vulgar.
I see your size recommends it for my type of body, hourglass. Kindly advise if large bust would look too revealed or if you adjust the front opening.

Can this dress be made with a slit down the side? Similar to the Jennifer Aniston inspired dress?
I am hoping to buy my bridesmaids dresses on from this site. I really like the Jennifer Aniston Golden Globe inspired dress and this one here. However I want them to still be similar which is why I am asking about the slit. And are they both made out of chiffon? Or is there quite a difference with the elastic woven and sheath?
I am planning to get this one in ruby, or a bold bright red. And the Jennifer Aniston dress in Royal blue or regency, whichever is bolder and brighter :)
Thanks for your help!

No, please understand that each dress is carefully tailored to match exactly what you see in the photos, and unfortunately we are unable to modify the style, length or material in any way. If you haven’t found exactly what you’re looking for yet, the “Narrow by” search function on the left-hand side of each dress category’s main page can help you find the perfect combination.
If i dont like the way the dress fits, can i get my money back?
also do i need to pay shipping on return items?
