This dress not only met but exceeded my expectations! I have four daughters and they all were amazed at how this dress looked when I tried it on for them. Also, thank you for sending the zipped bag to keep the dress stored in before and after wearing. It was shipped and recieved quicker than I expected too. Great craftsmanship and designing and thank you for making my special day even more special!

I received my order very quickly and I am very impressed. It is a beautiful dress and it is very well made. I erred on the side of caution and ordered a size that is a little larger because I couldn't risk the dress being too small. I am a size 12. I ordered a 14 and I need to take it in. If I had ordered the 12 I probably would have been OK. But even in the 14 for me the bust area, arms and back is fine. I just need to get it taken in at the sides on the waist area. I find that the dress has a lot more net underskirt than I expected. I am going to take the under layer of net out as it fills out the dress too much for me (I have a natural hourglass shape). But I am not bothered by this aspect as it is easy to remedy. Perhaps some ladies with a different shape would appreciate this extra net to give them more of an hourglass shape.

Very happy - was right right for the vintage style we wanted -

J'ai reçu ma robe bien avant la date prévue et je n'ai pas été déçue, bien au contraire.
Etant petite, je l'avais faite faire sur mesure. J'ai juste dû la faire reprendre à la taille de quelques centimètres. C'était exactement le style de robe que je souhaitais : rétro et chic. Me mariant en hiver, je l'ai agrémenté d'une petite cape en fourrure pour l'extérieur (cf. photo).

Bonjour j'ai réçu ma belle robe hier et j'ai adoré, j'ai dois juste faire des retouches au niveau de la taille pour la ceintrer plus. J'ai pas pu envoyer des mésures personnalisées parce que je me marie dans une semaine et il fallait que je la réçoive très vite, mais en tout cas elle est très belle. Je enverrai une photo une fois qu'elle est prête.

the dress was great, fit nice, i am quite short but i loved the length in the end. suited perfect for my las vegas wedding!

I received this dress WAY AHEAD of schedule, probably two weeks prior to the expected date. Was surprised to see that the entire dress was able to fit in the small box it came in but luckily arrived in good condition considering it was really packed into this box.

The dress fit LOOSE, yayyy me! I had custom measurements done and dress arrived loose around the waist which is great and fine by me! Better than tight right? So I will go to my local tailor and have it taken in a bit. The dress is truly pretty, the lace is gorgeous and for the price it's quite surprising. I feel very feminine and soft wearing it! :)
The tulle definately makes it poofier than what it appears in the picture online, so I'm having the tailor taper it down a bit so it's not as poofy. I'm only 5'1 so poofy on the bottom area is not a good thing, I definately dont want to feel like a duck on my wedding day. Hahahaha!
I just want to make this pretty dress fit me right on "the" day. I cant wait till it's all finished and done and it's the exact way I need it to be.

Thank you Light in the box for this beautiful dress as I was truly nervous ordering a wedding dress online. To all of you that are considering this dress, do not heistate it's really pretty and the quality is awesome. Hard to believe especially for the price!!!! I will submit a photo with me wearing it as soon as I can, as my wedding isnt until 10/27/12.

I saw this dress and fell in love, so i ordered it. I have to say i was extremely skeptical because ive never ordered anything overseas. When i opened the box, i pulled out the most amazing dress and it was beyond what i expected for the price. The lace is delicate and so beautiful and it fit me perfect. I did not request cutom made, i opted for the general 16w size. I am 5'4" and 195 and wear a size 16. I requested the wide just incase i needed to get it tailored. For my height the sleeves are too long so im having the sleeves taken up a bit. The shipment came in a day after the expected delivery date, which for me is reasonable. I do want to add that i did request express shipping seeing as though i literally ordered this about one month before my expected wedding date (risky..i know). Overall i am very pleased with my experience from begining to end and the garment absolutely exceeded my expectations. :)
