On a whim, I clicked on the Google Mail ad for this website, and I was pretty impressed by the expansive designs and the fact that these beautiful dresses could be custom-tailored on the cheap. So, I ordered this dress according to my measurements, which were directly in between sizes. I believe it took around 3 weeks for the dress to reach me.
The dress looked exactly as pictured, and in my measurements I made a note to them that I am very tall and asked them to consider this with the sleeve and skirt length. I will say the dress fits snug, and the material has little stretch, but this is clearly noted in the description, so I expected it. Basically, Light In The Box followed all of my requests to a tee; so if you want the dress to fit a little looser, say, in your hips, its up to you to add that to your measurements and that's just how you'll get it.
Finally, I just want to note that the dress was of SUCH high quality. I really was surprised that it was so well made, lined, etc. I did not think I would receive so much for this price. I believe there was one teeny tiny spot on the one hip where there was a little more space than the other, but my boyfriend and best friends could even see what I was talking about. I will definitely order again and have already recommended the site to my friends shopping for custom formal and wedding dresses. Thanks so much.

I ordered this dress and unfortunately for me it was on the small size, however it fit my 19 year old daughter perfect. The company was very good in giving me a a partial return or I could of sent it back and had it re made to the size it should of been. But it looked so beautiful on my daughter I kept it, and yes was I am very very jealous!

This is the first time I've ordered on LITB, and I'm hooked :)
I'll let you know of the minus cons first, but only because the benefits are a lot: 1. It takes a while to get there, but the wait it's totally worth it. Oh, and you should know this dress comes padded (and the pads are a bit kind of uncomfortably awkward - for me anyways)
BENEFITS:
The dress is practically made to fit: I'm a tiny 5'0 tall 96Lb person, I ordered a size 2, and it fits me wonderfully (in fact, if I dare gain the 10lbs I need, I may have to loosen the seams). Considering this, I think the sizes run a bit small. But it looks and fits beautifully.
The finishings are perfect, the packaging is flawless. The fabric looks and feels pretty good (after I wear it and take it to the cleaners I'll let you know if it's good or not)
The dress seems handmade to fit and to the detail, even though it's a regular size.
All in all, I can't wait to wear it and get all dressed up for it :)

When I opened the box and took out the dress I immediately fell in love with it.
When I tried it on, it fit amazingly!
The workmanship on this dress is fantastic. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you'll get. The shape and fit of this dress is really flattering. I ordered a US 16 and the style is very slimming.

I highly recommend this dress, even if you've got a large bust and even a bit of a tummy you want to hide

This is my first purchase (went custom) and I LOVE the fit! It is beautifully made, completely lined...WOW!! I am wearing it this weekend to a wedding and have the perfect shoes! Can't say enough good about his website, other than I am hooked!!

THis is the perfect dress I have been looking for. Can you tell me if the length can be increased just a tad bit? Just a tad bit too short for me but it is perfect in what I was looking for. Thank you.

As I said, I ordered a custom dress because I am very tall and also between the sizes they listed. I would definitely recommend this for plus sizes or women with big busts like me, but in the case that you are between sizes or if one of your measurements is at the maximum of your size, SIZE UP. In fact, even if you just feel you might need a little extra stretch, say, in you hips, its better to go up on size.

How long does the dress take to arrive after order has been placed. I placed my order on the 14th of feb 2011, and I need it by the 24 of Feb 2011
