This is a medium-sized wall clock, not a huge one. Its size is perfect for where we want it to be in our lounge room.
The actual colours of the metal fancy bits & timber bits are both much darker than shown in the pictures on this website. I attached a picture I took & it shows the true colours more accurately.
And yes, I agree with a comment I saw on this website. Because of the background picture, it is not easy to read the time from 1.5 to 2 meters away, especially when the clock hands are at the bottom part where it is quite dark & not easy to tell which is which. But we don't think it is a problem, as a wall clock like this is more for a show than reading the time :)
The pendulum is really cute. It swings non-stop. It is very quiet & makes no sound at all.
Most importantly, my husband said there are 2 batteries ― 1 is for the clock hands & 1 is for the pendulum. So if the pendulum swing makes you feel dizzy, you can take that battary out to stop the move.
This battery design actually is perfect for when my mum visits us, as the pendulum swing will definitely make my mum feel sick due to her illness. We really appreciate this battery function design very much. Maybe the designer themselves didn't even think about this bonus when they designed this wall clock that a design like this can be so considerate to people with special needs :)
We have already introduced this website to a few friends. When they come to visit us & see this wall clock, no doubt they will definitely put in a few orders.
