Received my dress a few days ago, It is beautiful. I ordered it one size up because I have found out formals for me runs smaller unless special ordered. It will serve as my mother of the bride dress. I am pleased!!!

Amazing service! This was the first time using a website to have a dress made. I was skeptical but frustrated after looking for a gown for my son's wedding scheduled at the end of May. I went through some of the gowns and selected the dress,my measurements, and the color jade (not bright jade but subdued) on April 16. I received shipped notice April 20 and the dress arrived on May 1! The dress was better than I imagined! Perfect fit. My heels are 2 1/2" no alterations necessary. My dress was definitely made for me. I am so pleased. The seamstress did beautiful workmanship.

I just received my dress today (not yet steamed), I ordered it Feb 21th. It's a better than I imagined, specially for the price. I purchased a size 4, in champagne. I'm 5'8" and in the picture I'm wearing 4" heels. It has a double lining so their are no worries about being see through or flimsy. The top part is also very sturdy and I might be able to pull off the dress without needing to wear a bra because the dress holds it own shape. The bag in the picture is separate but also purchased from this site; in beige. Only complaint is that the arm hole is a little snug but then again, that's how it looks on the model, so I'm not sure what can be done about that. I would definitely purchase another dress from the site. **hint: make sure you measure yourself before buying the dress. I usually wear size 2 dresses in the states**

Ein wunderschönes Kleid,wirklich total chic,sehr schönes hellblau.Hab es nicht glauben können als nach 14Tagen alle 4 Teile kamen,hab mit Kreditkarte bezahlt-liegt es daran ?Bin s e h r zufrieden,ich würde es sofort wieder machen!
Im nachhinein bin ich ärgerlich muß 74,47€ Zoll und Steuern nachzahlen,mehr als ich errechnet hab...

I ordered this dress made to my measurements. It arrived within a couple of weeks and fits well apart from the built in bra being positioned a little too high in the dress. It is also a little tight under the arm on the right hand side of the dress. Other than that I am happy with the purchase and the dress is well made.

Deze jurk besteld voor de bruiloft van mijn zoon. Na een lange mailwisseling over een andere jurk was het vertrouwen in een goede afhandeling een beetje weg maar..........ze hebben helemaal waar gemaakt wat ze hebben beloofd. Een geweldige jurk, goede pasvorm (alleen een beetje te lang) en een super mooie kleur. Na de definitieve bestelling/betaling netjes op de hoogte gehouden van de stand van zaken en binnen 2 weken de jurk geleverd. In perfecte staat, netjes verpakt en nogmaals de pasvorm is geweldig evenals het model!

My dress arrived a bit late due to local authorities and taxes to be paid.
it is a lovely dress, and the finish is excellent you can even wear it inside out!

The only problem i felt is that I had to pay 60% import tax - but this is our local problem. Next time I`ll have my order shipped elsewhere!

Thank you and I shall use Light in The Box again, for sure!

  • Can the cape (long strip of fabric flowing off in the back - attached to the flower) be removed?

    I was just wondering if that long strip of fabric that is attached to the flower can somehow be removed either during Light in the Box's making of the dress or by a personal tailor. Would the structure of the dress be compromised by not having the cape or is it easily removable? I really love the dress but I'm not sure if I am 100% if it has the flowing strip attached to the back. Thank you so much!
