I wanted to first thank you for the advice on how to remove the wrinkles and creases in the dress. I steamed and lightly ironed the dress with some other material over the satin and it looked great afterwards. However the hemline of the dress was not sewed correctly. The front was too short, and the back train was extremely long for a person who is only 5 feet tall. The whole bottom of the dress did not lay correctly. After emailing a picture of my dress to show lightinthebox.com how bad the dress was sewn for the hemline, they were wonderful about refunding the cost of my alterations. I wore the dress to my son's wedding and received many complients.
I have just received my dress and I am happy with the quality of the dress. The material is beautiful and the color is true to the color online. (I ordered my dress in Hunter Green.) I was very happy with the service provided by Lightinthebox. The order was slightly delayed, but the order came within a week of the estimated time and I want to thank the people at lightinthebox for being thoughtful to be sure I would receive my dress for my son's wedding. I do have some questions. The dress has many creases in the satin material from the shipping. I have hung up the dress so that some of the creases would relax. How can I remove the remainder of the creases without damaging the satin material of the dress. Would it be best to use a steamer to remove the wrinkles or a cool iron? I also noticed that the hem was not pressed. I assume that was intentional so that I could change the hem-length if needed. Can I press the hem line with a regular iron? I was also very surprised at how large the train was on this dress. The picture online appeared to have a much smaller train. Is it possible to have a tailor attach some kind of hook to the side of the dress without damaging the material so I can hook up the train after my son's wedding ceremony, so I can dance more easily? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you so much for helping me find a beautiful dress for my son's wedding. Your service is excellent. I have already recommended your website to a number of people.
It is recommended using Portable steamer or steamer whose temperature is lower than 70 centigrade. It is better to put another clothes with light color covering the dress before ironing. Also, it is not recommended changing the style or the train of the dress.

i ordered two of these dresses for my bridesmaids. wow they are stunning really beautifull! The quality is second to none. I would recomend them to anyone.
Am very interested in this dress and want to order 3 for bridesmaids, was wondering if it was possible to have two of them taken up as two of the bridesmaids are 5.1.
Would this be possible if I gave height measurements? Or woule we need to go to a tailor??
Dear Isla Martin,
Wedding is a big event. So we suggest you order customer size, as our suppliers will make the dress exactly to the size provided.

I got this dress a week ago, shipping was fast but you'll be charged about £25 extra VAT/ tax which i wasnt expecting.
The dress wasnt true to colour so be careful especially if you already have your accessories to go.
The dress was TOOOOOO LONG, way to long that it wont work even with the highest of platforms.
I havent amended it yet cos its going to cost me alot to amend at the end of the day, i might just sell it or chop off the entire tail.
However, its a nice quality and the body fits PERFECTLY just little bit loose which is how i like my dresses so am VERY HAPPY with the body fit.
MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THE LENGTH, I GOT MY REGULAR SIZE.
