wow....I was so nervous after having ordered this dress. I received it today and NEEDED to comment. It is so solidly and well made. The quality is outstanding. I ordered a petticoat for underneath, but as mentioned by another rater, it is not at all needed. The dress was ordered Aug 12 and arrived Sept 4, well packaged and clean.....Beyond speedy. The measurements I sent were apparently so accurate that absolutely no alterations will be needed. As mentioned before, there was a hefty customs charge (coming to canada), however, it was not a concern, considering the low price of the dress in the first place. Also, LIB is not responsible for that one.
All in all, I am so pleased with my order. It was definitely worth taking my chance ordering this dress. Be sure to take accurate measurements and custom order all the way.

side note.....it is a very thick and heavy dress so I can see dying of heat if your wedding is in the summer....definitely not recommended for warmer months. My wedding is in December....perfect for a fall/winter wedding.

I was EXTREMELY nervous after ordering my dress from here because I always felt like a wedding dress is something that shouldn't be ordered off the internet, but the price on this dress is something that I couldn't turn down, so I just ordered it anyway! I was hoping and praying that it would come looking as close to the original as possible, and it arrived just perfect! I ordered it with my custom measurements and I'm very glad I did. It fits perfectly and looks great. The dress is professionally made, comes with boning and lining, and I was even surprised to see something like a built-in crinoline. It's beautiful, I didn't have to order a petticoat or anything. I will probably remove the bow beneath the bust and add some bling by the flower on the hip, but other than that I am happy with my order. Thank you Light in the Box!

Thank you for posting your pictures! I was thinking of ordering from here too but after seeing what you got compare to what the model was wearing. They were too far apart. not to mention the minor details but the most obvious is the bow in the middle. It is completely differrent. I agree, it probably was. The bow was way too big and I can't see why any bride would want to leave that on....so I cut it off. Then I found a picture of the original design made by the original designer and instead of a bunched up piece of fabric to pose as a flower they used beautiful organza flowers along the side of the dress. So I also decided to cut off the flower that came with this dress and asked my friend who is a seamstress to make me the organza flowers. After some adjustments (including the cap sleeves because they stick out too much) the dress finally looks pretty close to the original design. I wish I could post the original on here, but at least Lightinthebox made a pretty good foundation of a dress to alter and re-create to make it your own: Par jazzy627 07 / 07 / 2012

I bought this dress for my wedding. The service from LITB was very efficient, particularly the online instant sales chat. I love the dress. Got it "made to measure" and it fits like a glove. The only thing to beware of is the additional customs charges that do not seem to be flagged massively on the website. I had the dress shipped to the UK and it added an extra £95 or so to the purchase price which I had to pay on the package's arrival in the UK. Definitely worth bearing the extra charge in mind if your budget is tight and you are taking a gamble over this / any other dress from LITB that you have never tried vs something you can actually see in the shops! That said, I am still extremely happy with my purchase, and the gamble was worth it.

Every designer has his unique design with the fixed design and material he choose, if changed, it could not assume the same style as you see in the picture, so you’d better not change the orignal material and style, because it could not be the same perfect effect as you imagine.
