Dress came today, was very very surprised to find it came in a box no bigger then a shoe box, was expecting it to at least arrive in a dress box. Any ways I order it custom made because I am so short, length is great, the rest not so much. The built in bust area does not sit properly, imo it doesn't need the stiffness there, plus it gapes around the neck area. I double measured before ordering, so I would get a good fit, also does not have the figure flattering look since the area under the bust just drops down. Thankfully I have a few weeks before the event I need it for, so off to get it alter for a better fit. Other then that its a very nice looking dress.

This dress is gorgeous and well made. The bodice sizing is a snug fit and on the smaller side, so I regret not going a size up but the images certainly reflect the quality of the dress. It is much dressier than I had expected, so not suitable for the occasion for which I bought it - however will be great for other dressier events. The material and colour (Dark Navy) are gorgeous. I am happy with the dress and it's classic style means it won't date, so it will be part of my wardrobe for years to come.

Really beautiful dress. I was impressed with the quality of the fabric and how it was made. The only negative point is that it is a bit bulky on the bust and chest. But it could look different on Another person. All in all, I am very happy.

I am going to wear this dress in burgundy for a wedding this year. I had it custom made, so I was happy to wait for a bit more than a month to get it (in Switzerland). The color is exactly as I imagined it to be and the quality of the dress is really fantastic. So, I am very pleased with that.
However, I had not expected the build-in bra to be that enormous (especially, as I had submitted my measures) and - to be honest - placed too high. Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove it without damaging the dress. So, I will have to live with that, which is a bit of a shame.
Also, I would have preferred to have the waist of the dress a bit lower, according to my actual waist. But, I guess, in this case, it is the design of the dress which requires it to be higher. I should have looked at the picture more carefully.
Finally, I got upset about the fact that the value of the dress was not declared on the delivery note. Swiss customs had to contact me in order to find out. So, in the end, I was charged a much higher fee just because of their efforts. I cannot understand why the value is not written. I would have saved much time and money.

I've just received this dress and while it looks lovely I was charged for the excess delivery as it came from China. I had to pay a further £26 at the door to the delivery people because the postage had not been fully paid for by the sender.

Verarbeitung war schlecht, Maße stimmten nicht überein.

I love this dress. I am a big girl and, let's face it, it is not always easy to find a dress for a special occasion that also looks good on. Although there was a little confusion as to when the dress would arrive, I am still very happy with the quality and fit of the dress. I cannot believe that you actually make every dress to order. That is amazing. I will certainly use this site again. I will just be better about not waiting too long to order.

WOW! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this dress to be as stunning as it is! I ordered this dress in Hunter Green and the colour is simply gorgeous...the pleats stand out better than they do on the navy blue the model is wearing here. I took my own measurements and the dress fits me like a glove. I simply can't wait to wear it at my son's wedding as I feel very glamorous in it ... not to mention that my husband loves it on me..bonus!! The boning in the seams and built in bra cups are very comfortable and I don't need to wear a bra with it at all. The dress was made and dispatched within two weeks but delivery was delayed here in Australia as I was not at home to sign for the order - I had to phone the local company four times until they got it right - but - it was all worth the wait in the end! I will most definitely be ordering more items from Light in the Box. I was a little concerned about ordering online but had no need to worry - thank you for a beautiful, high quality, well packaged product.
