After almost 3 weeks waiting (way too long, shipping times are sometimes terrible at Light in The Box) my Ritech II finaly arrived
After unboxing the first thing I noticed was that there's NO magnet included, despite that the key features on the website say : Package Include : 1 X VR Virtual Reality magnet. The same counts for the promised 'Cleaning Cloth' and 'Protective Case', neither those were in the box.
I was a bit disappointed here and it made me a bit unhappy.
Next I started to read the manual (English/Chinese) and it's okay. It tells you the basic things you need to know to start (also that a black and white magnet should be included !) but the QR codes in the manual are complete useless. Don't waste your time with it, either they don't work or they bring you to a site written in Chinese which is rather difficult to read for a Belgian like me or most other people not living in China. No problem, just use Google to find VR content for your phone or go directly to Google Play or the App Store and type in VR in search field. There're tons of content out there, you really don't need the QR codes in the manual.
The bluetooth remote control works fine, but is limited in functions I find and the manual (separate) is a bit complicated. I took me a while to get everything operational, but with a bit patience you'll manage it too.
After a few complaints, can I tell some good things about the Ritech II VR Helmet too?
Yes, certainly. It's absolutely a very good VR helmet considering the price of the item.
Don't expect the quality of an Oculus Rift or any other VR helmet in the higher price range, but it works fine. It does what it needs to do. The straps feel very comfortable, are easy to attach, and the whole device is not painful to wear in general. This is a common problem for many other low priced VR helmets out there. In this case the sponge cover really protects your face and makes wearing this helmet very comfortable.
The Ritech II also has "aspherical" lenses, and believe me there IS a huge difference. If you're used to a cardboard system (in most of the cases they have spherical lenses) like I was using before, you will love this Ritech II, it's a difference like night and day !
Except for the minor complaints above this helmet is certainly worth the money, but please keep in mind that if you really want to enjoy VR content, your phone MUST have a gyroscope sensor otherwise the VR content will stay static even when you're moving your head left or right. Check this first before you start exploring VR. There's a very good app on Google Play to check if your phone has a gyroscope sensor. Just search for 'sensor box' and you'll find what you need.

Après presque 3 semaines d'attente mon RITech II est arrivé dans un emballage correct.
Après le déballage de la première chose que je remarque est qu'il n'y a pas d'aimant inclus, pas de chiffon de nettoyage et pas d’étuis de protection malgré le descriptif sur le site dont le kit devait être: 1 X VR aimant de réalité virtuelle «chiffon de nettoyage» promis et 'étui de protection'.
Je suis déçu par les spécifications qui ne reflète pas la réalité.
